  • Patent number: 9851705
Abstract: A terminal apparatus and a method for controlling a terminal apparatus includes a sensor for collecting user data in real time; a processor for determining whether the user data satisfies a preset control condition, and generating a control instruction if it satisfies the preset control condition, wherein, the control instruction instructs a second terminal apparatus to execute a target operation; and a transmitter transmitting the control instruction to the second terminal apparatus by using a communication link with the second terminal apparatus, so as to facilitate the second terminal apparatus to be able to execute the target operation according to the control instruction. The terminal apparatus and the method for controlling terminal apparatus can make another terminal apparatus to satisfy current requirement of a user by controlling another terminal apparatus by the terminal apparatus without an instruction issued by the user.

  • Patent number: 9362769
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for power supply control as well as an electronic device. The method comprises: detecting that the first device is connected with the second device via the first physical interface, when the first device is in the unconnected state; determining whether the connection between the first and second devices satisfies a first predetermined condition or not, so as to obtain a first determination result; switching the first device from the unconnected state to the first connected state when the first determination result indicates that the connection satisfies the first predetermined condition; obtaining power supply requirement information of the second device that indicates whether the first device is required to supply power to the second device or not; and controlling the power supply to the second device via the first physical interface based on the power supply requirement information.

  • Patent number: 8468342
Abstract: The present invention proposes a computer system and a method capable of performing integrity detection, comprising: a running mode unit which comprises an integrity detection boot variable to determine whether or not to initiate an integrity detection boot mode by judging said running mode unit; an EFI integrity detection unit (5), which is used for performing an integrity detection on EFI image codes in the integrity detection boot mode, and comprises an integrity metric value for being compared with an EFI integrity calculated value generated after the EFI integrity detection unit performs the integrity detection on the EFI image codes, to determine the integrity of the EFI image codes; an operating system integrity detection unit (6); and an integrity management unit. The present invention is based on the EFI BIOS to perform the integrity detection on the operating system during the pre-boot stage, having better reliability and security.

  • Patent number: 8281364
Abstract: A trusted input technique in which switching is made between an OS environment unreliable in security and a BIOS reliable in security. Rapid switching to a secure environment, such as BIOS mode, upon request for secure input, is enabled. An OS environment of a user can be quickly resumed after the user completes the input of a cryptogram. The technique does not and will not have any influence on secure transaction architecture. The identification of a server is authenticated in a trusted secure environment, and thus it is possible to prevent such problem as “phishing” websites. The user cryptogram is present as plaintext only in a BIOS environment and server and as encrypted during intermediate transmission. Thus, it is impossible to be intercepted by any virus such as a “Trojan horse”.
