  • Publication number: 20220327515
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing an in-person transaction process are provided. In example embodiments, a network system receives, from a first user device, information regarding a service or an item. Using the received information, the network system generates an unpublished listing and associates the unpublished listing with a session identifier. The unpublished listing is temporarily stored to a datastore. The network system then generates a scannable code that provides a uniform resource identifier (URI) associated with the session identifier. The scannable code is presented on the first user device, whereby the scannable code can be scanned by a second user device to access, via the URI, a transaction user interface associated with the session identifier. In response to a request to access the transaction user interface triggered by the second user device scanning the scannable code, the transaction user interface is displayed on the second user device.

  • Patent number: 8372040
Abstract: A device for transdermal drug delivery and administration of differing dosages at specific times of the day automatically pursuant to a pre-programmed dosage profile. The device includes a control and display unit, a two-part dispensing mechanism, a drug reservoir, an administration element, and a solvent removal element. The dispensing mechanism may be a peristaltic pump having an active portion with a motor, a roller, a mounting plate and a detachable passive portion with tubing and a housing. The motor and roller are mounted in the reusable portion of the delivery device with the control unit and a power source. The speed of the micromotor is controlled by the control unit, so that the turning speed of the roller is controlled which, in turn, controls the flow rate to the administration. The passive portion and drug reservoir are detachable along with the administration element for attaching a new dosing reservoir.

  • Patent number: 7871570
Abstract: The instant application provides a fluidic array device having an elastomeric body that provides easy fluidic control of the device. The elastomeric body may include plurality of intersecting row and column channels. Reactions may occur at the intersection spots formed by the intersecting channels. Pinching applied at suitable locations along the channels enables the channels to be opened or closed, and thus provides control of fluids pumped through the device. The surfaces of the channels and intersection spots may be engineered to have certain properties. In particular, the intersection spots may be nanoengineered to have surface properties differing from those of the channels, and thus reactions may be selectively controlled to occur only, or highly preferentially, in the intersection spots.
