    Abstract: An optimization method for turbines of a thermal power unit based on sparse big data mining in the technical field of turbine optimization. The optimization method comprises: acquiring historical operating data of a unit; selecting a set of controllable operating parameters highly correlated with the heat rate of turbines as optimized parameters; constructing a new sparse data-oriented pattern-growth association rule mining algorithm based on binary matrixes and the hyperlink technique; proposing a load balancing strategy based on matrix operation on an Apache Spark platform, and parallelly implementing the global calculation-balanced pattern-growth association rule mining algorithm; and discretizing the historical operating data by clustering, parallelly mining the discretized historical operating data to obtain an association rule, and performing de-discretization to obtain target values of the optimized parameters of the turbines under boundary conditions.

    Abstract: A non-invasive time domain reflection probe calibration method includes: using different volume ratio of ethanol and deionized water mixed solution to calculate a test target's medium weight coefficient and waveguide length of the non-invasive time domain reflection probes; using different concentrations of NaCl solutions to calibrate a waveguide geometric dimensioning of the non-invasive time domain reflection probes; preparing compacted soil samples with known different moisture contents and densities, and calibrating a correlation parameter of compacted soil samples' dielectric constant and conductivity with moisture content and density. The method not only determines the sensitivity of the test target medium of the non-invasive time domain reflection probes, but also obtains the waveguide length and geometric dimensioning of the probe, and realizes an accurate test of moisture content and density of the soil.

The optimization method includes the following steps: performing a framing step, including using a 400×16 static random access memory to temporarily store a plurality of sampling points of a sound signal with overlap, and decomposing the sound signal into a plurality of frames. Each of the plurality of frames is 400 of the sampling points, there is an overlapping region between adjacent two of the plurality of frames, and the overlapping region includes 240 of the sampling points. The optimization method further includes performing a windowing step, which includes multiplying each of the plurality of frames by a window function in a bit-level design, and the optimization method includes performing a fast Fourier transform (FFT) step, which includes applying a 512 point FFT on a frame signal to obtain a corresponding frequency spectrum.
