The method is used in a first network device, and includes receiving information related to a second network device, determining a first resource configuration corresponding to a coverage classification related to the second network device based on the information, and transmitting the first resource configuration to the second network device. The method may obtain the first resource configuration through making prediction and calculation analysis based on the information, which may achieve dynamic configurations of different coverage classifications, save energy consumption, and improve system capacity and performance at the same time.

    Abstract: The present application provide a reference signal transmitting method, including: notifying a User Equipment (UE) of a grid index and a reference signal port index of the UE, wherein a coverage area of a base station is divided into grids, the grid index of the UE is an index of a grid where the UE is located; generating a reference signal based on the grid index; and transmitting the reference signal on corresponding time-frequency resources based on the grid index and the reference signal port index. The present application further provides a corresponding reference signal transmitting apparatus, and a scheduling method and apparatus. According to the technical solution provided by the present application, it is possible to increase the number of ports that the system can support at the same time with low reference resource overhead, and to ensure that the interference of the reference signal is controllable and eliminable, thereby ensuring transmission reliability.

Port virtualization to a transmit antennas may be implemented for multiple cell-specific reference signal (CRS) antenna ports and applying different vertical beamforming vectors to implement port virtualization for the different CRS antenna ports. The User Equipment (UE) reports the maximum RSRP/RSRQ value measured based on multiple CRS ports, or the UE simultaneously reports multiple RSRP/RSRQ values and the information of the multiple CRS antenna ports. Therefore, the coverage problem of the CRS signal and Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH)/Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH)/Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) demodulated based on CRS and the problem of measurement for Radio Resource Management (RRM) in the active antenna system may be avoided.
