    Abstract: A universal passive interface for connecting external systems to smart devices such as cell phones and PDAs. The passive system includes a cradle for receiving a compatible smart device that connects the functionality of the smart device to a wide variety of external systems (e.g., printers, large display, input devices, etc.). The passive interface includes a USB hub, network port, and other common connector ports for peripherals and other systems. The smart device can connect to the passive system via the cradle slot, a tether, and/or wirelessly. The external systems to which the passive system serves at the interface to the smart device include, but are not limited to, large displays (e.g., television), external monitors, input devices such as mice and keyboards, external storage devices, and networks (wired and/or wireless). A wizard allows the user to configure the external systems to work with the smart device.

    Abstract: The invention discloses an interconnection structure and a method for configuring path between the optical networks. The optical network includes a first network and a second network, the first network and the second network each has a number of nodes, a first node of the first network connects with a third node of the second network, a second node of the first network connects with a fourth node of the second network. The method comprises the steps of: setting-up a first path between one of the first node and the second node and another node of the first network; and at least by one link of the link between the first node and the third node and that between the second node and the fourth node, and by the first path, said another node of the first network communicates for path with another node of the second network.

    Abstract: An electrical card connector (1) includes an insulative header (2) defining a retaining section divided into a front retaining section (25) and a rear retaining section (26) by a longitudinal wall (20), a plurality of contacts (4) being retained in the retaining section and a shielding member (6) covering the retaining section. Each contact (4) comprises a front end (40) extending ahead and into the front retaining section (25) for electrically engaging with an electronic card and a rear end extending backwards and into the rear retaining section (26) and having a horizontal portion (41) and a vertical portion (42). Furthermore, a cover member (5) is provided between the horizontal portions (41) of the contacts (4) and the shielding member (6) and forms a plurality of grooves (51) at a bottom face thereof to secure the horizontal portions (41).
