  • Publication number: 20220011270
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and methods for ultrasound imaging and targeting. In one example, the systems and methods improve targeting and imaging through a heterogenous medium by using the angular spectrum approach (ASA) alone or in combination with passive acoustic mapping (PAM). In another example, the systems and methods improve the ultrasound imaging of vessels using microbubbles. The imaging of the vessels is also aided by the ASA and PAM. A closed loop controller is described that adjusts the ultrasound pressure provided to a region of interest to a desired pressure based at least in part on the harmonic, ultra-harmonic, sub-harmonic, or broadband frequency ranges for the microbubbles.

  • Patent number: 10825171
Abstract: In a method and computer for visualizing a medical image data set, in particular a magnetic resonance image data set, the medical imaging data set is provided to the computer which determines a first subset of the medical image data set related to a first parameter and a second subset of the medical image data set related to a second parameter. A first color is assigned to the first subset and a second color is assigned to the second subset. The first subset is transferred to a display in a first color presentation using the first color and the second subset is transferred in a second color presentation using the second color. The first color presentation and the second color presentation are combined for visualizing the medical imaging data set.

  • Patent number: 10296555
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for non-parametric dependence detection using bitwise operations in a computing system are disclosed. One method for non-parametric dependence detection using bitwise operations in a computing system includes receiving a set of p variables, wherein p represents an integer greater than or equal to two. The method also includes generating a set of binary interaction designs (BIDs) using a depth value d and bitwise operations, wherein each of the set of BIDs indicates a dependence structure based on arrangement of partitions in the respective BID. The method further includes determining, using the BIDs generated using bitwise operations in a computing system, non-parametric dependence between the set of p variables. The method also includes performing data analysis involving the set of p variables using the non-parametric dependence between the set of p variables. The method further includes generating output related to the data analysis.
