  • Publication number: 20220159650
Abstract: A broadcast communication system includes a plurality of transmitter tower stations configured to exchange inter-tower communication (ITC) signals to support a wireless ITC network (ITCN). Each TTS includes a transmitter (Tx) antenna, at least one receiver (Rx) antenna, and an ITCN server configured to form outgoing ITC signals for transmitting with the Tx antenna and to process incoming ITC signals received with the at least one Rx antenna. Each of the TTSs is configured to multiplex outgoing ITC signals with broadcast services signals prior to the transmitting and to detect the incoming ITC signals in a wireless signal received with the at least one Rx antenna. Several ITCN-integrating broadcast systems operating in a same or different frequency band may be interconnected to support an integrated inter-tower wireless communication network.

  • Publication number: 20220044395
Abstract: A system for processing, communication and viewing of medical imaging study data is configured to process and communicate medical imaging study data for communication between a local system and a client terminal. The systems preferably include a local system, one or more client terminals and an intermediate remote server. The local system may be located within a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and includes a local or site server, a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and a Radiology Information System (RIS). The local or site server communicates between the PACS and the RIS, and the intermediate remote server that may be outside of the VPN. The local or site server may be configured to perform a lossless image processing method to process, compress and encrypt and communicate medical imaging study data. An interface and associated methods of viewing medical imaging study data are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7995688
Abstract: An iterative channel estimation and inter-carrier interference (ICI) cancellation process is provided for OFDM receivers, and more particularly for mobile OFDM receivers. The iterative process uses decision feedback to estimate both the channel gain and the ICI gains, the latter being the multiplicative gain applied to the adjacent sub-carriers. Thus the receiver performs equalization and ICI cancellation in an iterative fashion and is advantageous for estimating fast fading channels.
