  • Patent number: 11972717
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of driving display, and a display device. The method of driving display includes: scanning, progressively or rows by rows, a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in an N×M array, to turn on each row of sub-pixels scanned, so that a duration in which two adjacent rows of sub-pixels are simultaneously in an ON state is greater than or equal to two times a unit scanning time, wherein the unit scanning time is a time required for scanning a row of sub-pixels, N is an integer greater than 1, and M is an integer greater than 1; and applying data signals to at least two rows of sub-pixels simultaneously in the ON state, so that a duration of applying the data signals to each row of sub-pixels is greater than the unit scanning time.

  • Publication number: 20210128248
Abstract: A robotic system for treating the skin of a patient has a robotic arm with several degrees of freedom supporting a navigation unit at an end distal to its base. The navigation unit holds a medical instrument, such as a scalpel, a microneedle tool, a plasma skin treatment device, or other medical instrument. The navigation unit has sensors that sense the distance and angle of attitude of the tool relative to the patient. A control system provides for a programmed movement of the medical instrument through a series of movements on or near the skin of the patient. Relying on the sensors in the navigational unit, the control system navigation maintains the medical instrument at a predetermined operating distance from and at a predetermined angle to the skin of the patient as the instrument is moved through the procedure, whether controlled robotically and autonomously or manually.

  • Patent number: 8864497
Abstract: A distributed, networked simulation system has two or more vehicle simulators that resists latency errors when the vehicles are close to each other, and is especially useful for close maneuvering training such as tanker and receiver aircraft refueling exercises or combat exercises where one aircraft closely follows another. One simulator sends the other simulator data defining the relative linear displacements and rotations between their two vehicles. The receiving simulator uses the data to maintain the relative position of the other vehicle in its local scene data based on the defined relative displacement and rotation between the vehicles. An additional simulator may simulate the boom control on the tanker using similar relative position data. The system starts relative displacement data operation when one vehicle approaches another in the virtual world, and returns to normal operation when the vehicles separate.

  • Patent number: 6273248
Abstract: A floppy disk cartridge adapter having a removable coin shaped memory disk. The 3½ inch size cartridge adapter can fit into conventional personal computer disk drives. The small coin shaped magnetic disk has a diameter of approximately 1 inch, and can be easily snapped into and removed from the cartridge adapter. The coin disk fits on a spindle that is side by side to the floating drive plate used in regular 3½ inch floppy diskettes. The spindle can be attached by various drive systems to rotate simultaneously with the rotating drive plate. One version is belt driven, another has the coin disk snap onto a spindle supported wheel whose sides frictionally rub against the drive plate wheel, and a third version has the coin disk snap onto the spindle supported gear wheel whose sides contain teeth which mateably engage like side teeth on the drive plate wheel.
