    Abstract: The present disclosure provides apparatuses and methods for splitting an image into coding units. An image is divided into coding tree units (CTUs) which are hierarchically partitioned. Hierarchical partitioning includes multi-type partitioning such as binary tree or quad tree splitting. For CTUs completely within the image and CTUs on the boundary, respective multi-type partition depths are chosen. The present disclosure provides for multi-type partitioning flexibility in a boundary portion of the image.

    Abstract: A cross-coupling control method for moving beam of gantry machine tool is disclosed, which relates to the technical field of CNC machine tool control. The cross-coupling control method includes: Step 1: establishing a crossbeam dynamics model considering a ram on the crossbeam, and at the same time simplifying the model for an observer design; step 2: realizing a PID control parameter adjustment of motors at both ends in accordance with a method of parameter tuning of a unilateral servo control system; using a servo system with the same control parameters to jointly drive the crossbeam up and down, realizing the synchronous control and realizing PID control parameter tuning for both end motors. The disclosure not only reduces the synchronization error caused by the torsion of the crossbeam, but also solves the synchronization error caused by the asymmetric load on both sides, and improves the system robustness and stability.

An array of photovoltaic pixels is configured to provide retinal stimulus responsive to the video stream. The photovoltaic pixels have a common return electrode. Each pixel has an active electrode that is coupled to retinal tissue via a capacitive interface or a faradaic interface. Each pixel includes photodiode(s) connected in series between the common return electrode and the corresponding active electrode. The projected video stream is configured based on a source video stream such that one or more pixels of the retinal implant that will be dark in a next frame of the projected video stream are optically preconditioned (pre-charged) by the projected video stream during the previous frame to become sufficiently conductive to act as transient local return electrodes during the next frame of the projected video stream.

A system has a highly efficient method to screen and diagnose a large number of patients using the new ocular contact lens and ocular imaging camera.
