  • Patent number: 11806979
Abstract: A building product for application to the exterior of a building. The front face of the product utilizes a first fiber sheet partially embedded within a thermoset polymer coating resin. A foamed closed cell admixture composition core with an inorganic filler overlays the thermoset polymer coating resin with the embedded fiber sheet. The admixture composition infiltrates and bonds to the portion of the fiber sheet that is not embedded within the thermoset polymer coating resin mechanically bonding to the thermoset polymer coating. A second fiber sheet overlays the admixture core and the admixture and second fiber sheet form the rear surface of the building product that is mounted adjacent the building surface.

Date of Patent: November 7, 2023
    Assignee: Ply Gem Industries, Inc.
Inventors: John Pacanovsky, Ibrahim Ali Ozkan, Silvester Pius Motha, Zhi-Jie Liu, Christopher David Strom

  • Publication number: 20070189724
Abstract: A subtitle translation engine (20) for translating subtitle content from a video source to another language, the engine (20) comprising: a subtitle extractor (21) for extracting subtitle content in a first language from the video source; and a translation module (22) for translating words of the extracted subtitle content in the first language to a second language with the same meaning by performing a lookup on a language dictionary; where, during playback of the video, the extracted subtitle content is output in the second language.

  • Patent number: 7090889
Abstract: Boride thin films of conducting and superconducting materials are formed on silicon by a process which combines physical vapor deposition with chemical vapor deposition. Embodiments include forming boride films, such as magnesium diboride, on silicon substrates by physically generating magnesium vapor in a deposition chamber and introducing a boron containing precursor into the chamber which combines with the magnesium vapor to form a thin boride film on the silicon substrates.

  • Publication number: 20060029184
Abstract: Disclosed are high-throughput methods for determining crystal structures from X-ray diffraction data, for example high-throughput crystal structure determination methods employing flexible, high-throughput modular computational pipelines, such as Bioperl computational pipelines. High-throughput methods for determining crystal structures can be fully or partially automated, and can be fully or partially computer executed. Crystal structure determination methods employing a pipeline interface, work flow manager and/or output parsers can be used to optimize the amount of structural information derived from an X-ray diffraction data set and increase the efficiency of calculating crystal structures from X-ray diffraction data.
