  • Publication number: 20250036770
Abstract: A method for accelerating sleep startup speed is provided. The method may include determining that a system-on-chip (SoC) is under a sleep mode; determining that a wake-up condition is met; calculating a second authentication key based on data stored in a flash memory of the SoC using a cryptographic algorithm; comparing the second authentication key with a first authentication key, wherein the first authentication key is associated with a secure boot of the SoC and obtained from an Always On (AON) memory of the SoC; and in response to a comparison result that the first authentication key is the same as the second authentication key, waking the SoC up from the sleep mode.

  • Publication number: 20240202341
Abstract: A method of patching a secure boot of an internet of things (IoT) device is provided. The method may include: loading a patch on a flash memory of a system-on-chip (SoC); generating a patch key corresponding to the loaded patch using a cryptographic algorithm; reading a pre-determined authentication key from a one-time programmable (OTP) memory of the SoC; comparing the patch key with the authentication key. In response to a comparison result that the patch key is the same as the authentication key, the method may include authenticating the patch; executing the authenticated patch on the SoC; and booting the SoC with the authenticated patch executed on the SoC.

  • Publication number: 20230141090
Abstract: A WiFi data transmission system is provided. The transmission system is in a mesh-tree topology and includes a router and nodes connected to the router via a root node. A node of the nodes includes a station (STA) interface, a soft access point (AP) interface, a bridge interface, and a forwarding database (FDB), for example. Upon receiving a data frame by the node, the bridge interface of the node may search the FDB using information of the data frame for a latest data record to determine an outgoing interface address of the outgoing node so as to guide an outgoing path for the data frame. The structure of transmission system can lead to an improved adaptability and communications efficiency, and a reduced resource consumption.

  • Patent number: 9012109
Abstract: A method for pre-treating a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) for a fuel cell is disclosed. According to the method of the invention, the MEA is subjected to multiple wet/dry cycles prior to assembly of the MEA into the fuel cell stack. The pre-treatment wet/dry cycles of the present invention eliminate or reduce the irreversible dimensional changes which occur in the polymer electrolyte membrane in the MEA throughout the wet/dry cycles of fuel cell operation. This reduces stress applied to the MEA throughout wet/dry cycles which occur during operation of the fuel cell. Consequently, the formation and propagation of pinholes in the membrane is reduced, increasing the lifetime of the MEA.

  • Publication number: 20050072514
Abstract: A method of making a membrane electrode assembly is provided. The method includes providing a non-porous polymeric substrate which has sufficient structural integrity and elastic deformation such that no significant deformations occur during processing to facilitate reuse. The substrate is optionally formed into a loop for continuous processing. A slurry is formed which includes an ionically conductive material, an electrically conductive material, a catalyst, and a high boiling point solvent. The slurry is applied onto the non-porous polymeric substrate, for example, in a pattern of discrete regions. The slurry is dried to form decals. The decals are bonded to a membrane and then the substrate is peeled from the decal in a substantially undamaged condition so that it may be reused.
