    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may support two or more uplink switching periods for transmit chain switching. The UE may transmit a UE capability message indicating the UE capability to support a first uplink switching period and a second uplink switching period for transmit chain switching. The first uplink switching period and the second uplink switching period may each correspond to different switching periods associated with configuration switches between different transmit chain configurations of the UE. The UE and a base station may select an uplink switching period from among the first uplink switching period and the second uplink switching period. The UE may transmit an uplink data message to the base station after a preparation time that is based on the uplink switching period.

    Abstract: This application discloses a protection circuit associated with a battery management system (BMS). The protection circuit includes a first protection module and a freewheeling module. The first protection module is connected in parallel to a first switch module of the BMS, and the freewheeling module is connected in parallel to a load module of the BMS. The first protection module switches to a charging state when the first switch module is turned off to stabilize a voltage between a first terminal of the first switch module and a second terminal of the first switch module. The freewheeling module is turned on when the first switch module is turned off to stabilize a voltage between the first switch module and the second switch module. The protection circuit mitigates risks of breakdown of the first switch module, and prevents a parasitic inductance from limiting a switching frequency of the first switch module.

    Abstract: Embodiments relate to switching a neural processor circuit between non-secure and secure modes. A security controller of the neural processor circuit indicates that a transition from the non-secure mode to the secure mode is to occur. The security controller waits for a neural task manager of the neural processor circuit to clear out any existing non-secure tasks in queues. After the existing non-secure mode tasks are cleared, the security controller switches the neural processor circuit to the secure mode. While in the secure mode, secure tasks are added to one or more queues and executed, and data for processing in the neural processor circuit is received from a secure source. The neural processor circuit may to transition back to the non-secure mode when all secure mode tasks are completed.
