    Abstract: In a process for a wireless network device in a first Neighbor Awareness Network device cluster (NAN cluster) to join a second NAN cluster, the wireless network device first discovers the second NAN cluster by means of scanning for networking signals from the second NAN cluster. If it determines, based on the discovery information, to join the second NAN cluster, the wireless network device sends an event message to other wireless network devices in the first NAN cluster to inform them that it is leaving the first NAN cluster to join the second NAN cluster. The event message also contains a cluster ID (CID) of the second NAN cluster. The wireless network device then leaves the first NAN cluster and joins the second NAN cluster.

    Abstract: An access point (AP) response method including receiving, by an AP, a probe request message and allowing to a probe response message to be returned to the terminal when a roaming agreement is signed. According to this invention, only an AP instead of all APs on a network needs to return the probe response message to the terminal, a same network roaming agreement is signed between the network in which the AP is located and a network in which the terminal is located. Therefore, network resources are saved. In addition, it avoids that the terminal processes the probe response message returned by the AP for which the network roaming agreement is not signed, thereby reducing time for discovering the AP by the terminal, and increasing a network access speed of the terminal accordingly.

    Abstract: A device, a system, and a method for automatically configuring application terminals in a home network are disclosed. The method is as follows. A home gateway receives identifier information of an application terminal sent by the application terminal through a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). The identifier information of the application terminal is sent to a public network through a DHCP message, so as to determine a DHCP server corresponding to an automatic configuration server (ACS) of the application terminal. Address information of the ACS of the application terminal is obtained from the DHCP server on the public network through a DHCP message. The address information is transmitted to the application terminal, so that the application terminal obtains configuration information from the ACS according to the address information to perform an auto-configuration.
