In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for reporting channel state information includes one or more of: receiving a downlink related Downlink Control Information (DCI) triggering an aperiodic CSI; determining a timing offset for the aperiodic CSI to be reported on PUCCH; and reporting the aperiodic CSI on PUCCH based on the determined timing offset. In this way, efficient and low overhead signaling of timing offset of aperiodic CSI report is enabled.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for aperiodic Channel State Information (CSI) over multi-Transmission/Reception Point (TRP) Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for providing feedback includes: repeating PUSCH over multiple M>1 PUSCH occasions with P spatial relations and/or Uplink Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states; and multiplexing Aperiodic CSI (A-CSI) with PUSCH on N>=1 PUSCH transmission occasions wherein N includes at least one PUSCH transmission occasion associated with each of the P spatial relations or UL TCI states. This may enable improved A-CSI reliability in multi-TRP scenarios. By repeating A-CSI (multiplexed with PUSCH or not multiplexed with PUSCH) over multiple TRPs, the reliability of A-CSI can be improved since the A-CSI can be received by at least one TRP. This method is particularly beneficial in FR2 cases where the channel between a TRP and a UE can experience channel blocking.

In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes: determining a first priority level of a first Uplink Control Information (UCI) (A-CSI on PUCCH triggered by a downlink related DCI); determining a second priority level of a second UCI; and/or performing a priority level handling action based on a comparison of the first priority level and the second priority level. In some embodiments, performing the priority level handling action includes: multiplexing the UCIs and transmitting them together; transmitting the first UCI and the second UCI separately; and dropping one of the UCIs and transmitting the other. In this way, proper priority levels can be determined for A-CSI on PUCCH when it collides with other types of UCI.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for Channel State Information (CSI) enhancements are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for reporting channel conditions includes one or more of: receiving a Channel State Information-Interference Measurement (CSI-IM) pattern; and reporting channel conditions based on the CSI-IM pattern. In some embodiments, the CSI-IM pattern spans multiple Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols on a single subcarrier in a slot. In this way, these CSI-IM patterns might allow better interference measurement by capturing interference in all OFDM symbols in a slot and thus more accurate interference estimation and CSI feedback. The enhanced aperiodic CSI might allow interference variations over time to be measured and reported so that proper margins can be applied by the base station in downlink scheduling to ensure reliable data delivery while maintaining high spectrum efficiency.
