  • Patent number: 11930174
Abstract: A method and apparatus for block partition are disclosed. If a cross-colour component prediction mode is allowed, the luma block and the chroma block are partitioned into one or more luma leaf blocks and chroma leaf blocks. If a cross-colour component prediction mode is allowed, whether to enable an LM (Linear Model) mode for a target chroma leaf block is determined based on a first split type applied to an ancestor chroma node of the target chroma leaf block and a second split type applied to a corresponding ancestor luma node. According to another method, after the luma block and the chroma block are partitioned using different partition tress, determine whether one or more exception conditions to allow an LM for a target chroma leaf block are satisfied when the chroma partition tree uses a different split type, a different partition direction, or both from the luma partition tree.

  • Patent number: 8747524
Abstract: A method for separating out molten dust in high temperature gas includes the steps of: passing the high temperature gas carrying molten dust through an adhesive separator, the molten dust adhering to the adhesive separator and separating from the high temperature gas, the molten dust adhering to the inner sidewall flowing downwardly due to the gravity force and discharging; conveying the cleaned high temperature gas into a heat exchanger directly or after heating materials for cooling and discharging; using the heat recycled by the heat exchanger to heat the gas supplied to the adhesive separator; and supplying the gas heated by the heat exchanger into the adhesive separator directly or after further reaction, the heat absorbed from the heat exchanger and the heat generated in the reaction keeping the temperature of the gas flowing out of the adhesive separator higher than the melting point of the dust.

  • Publication number: 20140157412
Abstract: A method for performing anonymous testing on electronic digital data is provided. The method comprises the steps outlined below. At least one electronic digital data is received. A type of the electronic digital data is identified to retrieve a plurality of data fields according to the type of the electronic digital data, in which the data fields further comprises a plurality of data blocks. The data fields and the data blocks are analyzed such that they are categorized as at least one logic operation part and at least one data content part. A data-hiding process is performed on the data content part only to generate output electronic digital data and a subsequent analysis is performed on the output electronic digital data.

  • Patent number: 8650567
Abstract: A virtual machine monitoring method used in a virtual machine monitoring system is provided. The virtual machine monitoring method includes retrieving a hypercall transmitted from one of a plurality of virtual machines to a hypervisor of a virtual machine monitoring system, wherein the hypercall is used for establishing a channel between a source virtual machine and a target virtual machine. A central control virtual machine ID information in the hypervisor is retrieved. A type of the channel established by the hypercall is determined according to the central control virtual machine ID information and channel-establishing information corresponding to the hypercall. When the channel is a private channel that is not related to a central control virtual machine of the virtual machines, a security module is used to monitor the private channel.

  • Patent number: 7885514
Abstract: This invention provides a method and an apparatus for determining a rendering duration. An audio/video recording system is used for recording an audio bit stream and a video bit stream. The audio bit stream includes a plurality of audio frames. The video bit stream includes N video frames. According to this invention, the rendering durations of the first and the last video frames are determined based on the moments when the system starts to record the audio frames and the video frames. According to this invention, when the (i+1)th video frame through the (i+NL)th video frame are lost, the rendering duration of the ith video frame is determined based on NL. According to this invention, when the system receives a command of synchronization correction for the ith video frame, the rendering duration of the ith video frame is determined based on a correction value.
