Abstract: The present application relates to the field of battery, discloses an electrode-assembly and a battery, wherein the electrode-assembly includes a body with a first wall and a current blocker arranged on the first wall. The first wall of the body is close to the internal structure of the body, and its temperature is relatively close to the internal temperature of the body as compared with the seal side of the electrode-assembly; in above electrode-assembly, since the current blocker is directly attached to the first wall of the body, the heat inside the body can be quickly conducted to the current blocker through the first wall, so the current blocker of the electrode-assembly can be triggered more timely to reduce or cut off the current for effectively protecting the electrode-assembly.

Abstract: The present application provides an electrode assembly comprising a first electrode comprising a first current collector and a second electrode comprising a second current collector, wherein the first current collector comprises a first surface, the second current collector comprises a second surface, the first surface faces the second surface, and the second surface is provided with a conductive material. It is an object of the present application to provide an electrode assembly for improving short-circuit defects existing in the electrode assembly while ensuring resistance to mechanical abuse. The present application further provides a battery.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a cell and a battery, wherein the cell comprises a body including a first electrode tab; and a choke that triggers after the temperature reaches a certain value to reduce the current passing through it; the choke is electrically connected to the first electrode tab, and a product of the length of connection path from the choke to the first electrode tab and a cooling coefficient of the connection path is smaller than a difference between a first temperature of the first electrode tab and a second temperature of the choke, wherein the second temperature of the choke is a temperature when the choke is triggered. In the above-mentioned cell, if the trigger action of the choke is timely, the body of the cell can be prevented from reaching the overcharge state, and the choke in the above-mentioned cell can further effectively protect the cell.

Abstract: The present application provides a battery cell including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator disposed therebetween, wherein the separator comprises an extension portion beyond the first electrode and the second electrode at an end portion of the battery cell. The battery cell further includes an adhesive layer including a body and a connecting portion extending from the body. The body is adhered to the extension portion, and the connecting portion is adhered to the extension portion. It is an object of the present application to provide a battery cell that effectively eliminates invalidation resulted from short circuit caused by the separator shrinkage. The present application further provides an electrochemical device and a method of manufacturing thereof.

Abstract: The present application provides an electrode assembly comprising a body and a separator extension formed by a separator extending from the body, wherein the separator extension includes a first extension and a second extension, the second extension including a first stack portion and a second stack portion, the second stack portion being folded over onto the first stack portion. The present application further provides a battery and a packaging method of separator of the electrode assembly. The purpose of the present application is to provide an electrode assembly, a battery and a packaging method of electrode assembly separator, which can solve the problem of separator shrinkage during the falling process.
