Abstract: A gel composition, in particular a gelled electrolyte, comprising: i) fumed alumina particles, wherein the mean primary particle size of the particle is from 5 to 50 nm and the BET specific surface area is from 40 to 400 m2/g; ii) at least two organic solvents; and iii) a lithium salt; wherein the amount of the alumina particles is 0.2-10% by weight based on the total weight of the gel composition. A method to prepare a gelled electrolyte, a Li-ion battery, a Li-ion battery and a device are also provided.

Abstract: An electrochromic device with side-by-side structure including a common electrode unit, at least one color-changing unit and an electrolyte layer is provided. The common electrode unit includes an electrode layer and an electrode protection layer disposed on the electrode layer. The color-changing unit includes a transparent conductive layer and a color-changing layer disposed on the transparent conductive layer. The common electrode unit and each color-changing unit are arranged on the same plane with an insulating region between two adjacent units. The electrolyte layer covers and connects the electrode protection layer of the common electrode unit and the color-changing layer of each color-changing unit.

The steam iron is operable to convert between a power mode, where water is only introduced from the water inlet unit into the first heating space, and a regular mode, where water is introduced from the water inlet unit into the first and second heating spaces.
