Abstract: The present application relates to a battery module. The battery module includes a battery group and an insulating plate. The battery group includes a bus bar and a plurality of battery units, each battery unit includes a tab which includes a connecting segment and a bending segment. The insulating plate includes a plurality of plate assemblies, and the adjacent plate assemblies are connected through a connecting plate. There is an obtuse angle between each plate assembly and the connecting plate connected thereto. Each connecting segment passes through a guiding groove, and the bending segment and the bus bar are fixed and connected. The guiding groove can adjust the altitude of the tab as it passes through the insulating plate. The bending segment can be connected to the bus bar, then the process requirements can be met with a small space, which improves the energy density of the battery module.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of energy storage devices, and in particular, to a battery module. The battery module includes a set of batteries, a case receiving the set of batteries, and a sampling unit for collecting a voltage signal and a temperature signal of the set of batteries. The sampling unit is provided with a connector, and a stopper for fixing the connector is formed on the case. By forming the stopper on the case, the connector can be directly assembled to the stopper during assembling process of the set of batteries without the need to fix the connector by glue or bolt connection. Therefore, not only an assembling process is simplified, but also the connector is not easily damaged during the assembling process.

The main portion includes a first exterior surface, a second exterior surface and a third exterior surface, the third exterior surface is a curved surface. The first protruding portion includes a fourth exterior surface extending downwardly from a bottom end of the third exterior surface, the fourth exterior surface is inclined inwardly relative to the third exterior surface. The secondary battery comprises the cap plate and a case. The case includes an opening; the cap plate is provided to the opening, the main portion is fixed to an inner wall of the case. The first protruding portion is received in the case, and a gap is provided between the fourth exterior surface and the inner wall, a dimension of the gap increases gradually along a downward direction.

The insulation tester may be mounted in a first cabinet, electrically connected to a positive busbar and a negative busbar to detect an equivalent busbar-to-ground resistance, and grounded via the first cabinet. The grounding resistance providing unit may be mounted at least in part in a second cabinet different from the first cabinet, electrically connected to at least one of the positive busbar and the negative busbar to provide a grounding resistance, and grounded via the second cabinet. The insulation tester may determine, based on resistance values of the equivalent busbar-to-ground resistance and the grounding resistance, whether there is a ground fault or not for the insulation tester, the first cabinet, and the second cabinet.

Abstract: There is provided a grounding detection device and method. The grounding detection device may include an insulation tester and a grounding resistance providing unit. The insulation tester may be mounted in a first cabinet, electrically connected to a positive busbar and a negative busbar to detect an equivalent busbar-to-ground resistance, and grounded via the first cabinet. The grounding resistance providing unit may be mounted at least in part in a second cabinet different from the first cabinet, electrically connected to at least one of the positive busbar and the negative busbar to provide a grounding resistance, and grounded via the second cabinet. The insulation tester may determine, based on resistance values of the equivalent busbar-to-ground resistance and the grounding resistance, whether there is a ground fault or not for the insulation tester, the first cabinet, and the second cabinet.
