  • Publication number: 20160380453
Abstract: A terminal support and a wireless charging device are disclosed. The terminal support includes a base with a placing surface used for placing a terminal; a force generation module; and a control module connected to the force generation module, wherein the control module is configured to control the force generation module to generate a force which acts on the terminal to change a relative position relationship between the terminal and the placing surface. A wireless charging device is further disclosed and the wireless charging device includes the terminal support. The terminal support controls the terminal placed on the base, the terminal and the placing surface are controlled to produce relative movement therebetween, and corresponding control can be performed according to a state parameter of the terminal or an instruction input by a user.

  • Patent number: 9171080
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for extracting data records containing user-generated content from documents. The documents may be processed into document trees in which sub-trees represent the data records of the document. Domain constraints may be used to locate structured portions of the document tree. For example, anchor trees may be located as being sets of sibling sub-trees with similar tag paths that contain the domain constraints. The anchor trees may then be used to determine a record boundary (e.g., the start offset and length) of the data records. Finally, the data records may be extracted based on the anchor trees and the record boundaries.

  • Patent number: 8843492
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein provide techniques and arrangements to train a blocking scheme using both labeled data and unlabeled data. For example, training the blocking scheme may include iteratively: learning a conjunction, identifying first matches in the labeled data and the unlabeled data that are uncovered by the conjunction, and identifying second matches in the labeled data and the unlabeled data that are covered by the conjunction. The conjunction learned in each iteration may be combined using a disjunction. A search engine may use the search engine when searching for records that match an entity.

  • Patent number: 7228312
Abstract: An XML transformation tool that constructs a relational database with associated physical structures that can be populated with shredded XML data. A mapping transformation enumerator examines queries in the workload and enumerates mapping transformations that use XSD specific constraints and statistics on XML data and can be used to generate mappings from XSD to relational database schema that may lead to better performance in presence of physical design. A design tuner that searches mappings generated from a default mapping using enumerated transformations together with physical design structures associated with those mappings and selects a preferred mapping and the physical design structures. Cost estimates for performing queries in the workload are determined for the relational database implementing the mapping and associated physical design structures.

  • Publication number: 20060053122
Abstract: A framework defining a family of index structures useful in evaluating XML path expressions (i.e., twigs) in XML database is disclosed. Within this framework, two particular index structures with different space-time tradeoffs are presented that prove effective for the evaluation of twigs with value conditions. These index structures can be realized using access methods of an underlying relational database system. Experimental results show that the indices disclosed achieve significant improvement in performance for evaluating twig queries as compared with previously proposed XML path indices.

  • Patent number: 6738762
Abstract: An approach for multidimensional substring selectivity estimation utilizes set hashing to generate cross-counts as needed, instead of storing cross-counts for the most frequently co-occurring substrings. Set hashing is a Monte Carlo technique that is used to succinctly represent the set of tuples containing a given substring. Then, any combination of set hashes will yield a cross-count when intersected. Thus, the set hashing technique is useful in three-, four- and other multidimensional situations, since only an intersection function is required.
