  • Publication number: 20100151573
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods for delivery of payload molecules to selected cells. The method comprises payload carrying delivery vehicles tagged with selectin or selectin-ligands. The payload carrying delivery vehicles are immobilized on flow surfaces and payload is delivered to targeted cells during rolling. The invention is also directed to compositions and devices for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 7302840
Abstract: An aerodynamic or hydrodynamic test apparatus that permits all air to be evacuated from the test enclosure, such that no free liquid surfaces remain. This permits more accurate testing of structures, particularly at low Reynolds numbers. The apparatus includes a seal that allows the elimination of a liquid free surface. The seal is disposed in a slit on an upper surface of the enclosure and can include one or more inflatable sealing members. The upper surface of the enclosure is preferably sloped upwardly towards the seal to prevent the entrapment of air bubbles within the enclosure. A method of testing using such an apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070190821
Abstract: A method for computer-aided plate punching is disclosed. The method includes the steps of reading and configuring processing data; reading a design drawing of a workpiece as a processing diagram; selecting needed figures from the processing diagram, and configuring template attributes to confirm contour of the workpiece; selecting operation modes and cutters for processing orifices; processing the orifices and generating cutters information; selecting operation modes and cutters for processing slots; processing the slots and generating cutters information; optimizing the cutters information, and generating a list of cutters; and converting the list of cutters into corresponding CNC codes. A related system is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070184598
Abstract: Shorting bars are provided for electrostatic discharge protection as a portion of trace deposition in a photodiode array. During normal processing for etching of the metal layers, the shorting bars are removed without additional processing requirements. Additional shorting elements are provided by employing FET silicon layers having traces in contact with the array traces to provide extended ESD protection until removal of those shorting elements during normal processing for opening vias for photodiode bottom contact.
