Abstract: A monoscopic imaging system, for example a minimally invasive surgery imaging system, is provided which includes an image capture device for capturing images of a monoscopic, for example endoscopic, field of view, an auxiliary light source operable such that an object within the field of view casts a shadow, an image processor operatively connected to the image capture device and operable to detect shadow pixels in the images corresponding to the shadow and to enhance the shadow in the images. The system is of particular, although not exclusive, application to laparoscopic surgery.

In subsequent techniques, internal tissue movement can be predicted from measured external surface movement using the correlation model.

Applying the templated pattern enables peer services to define a transparent contract between specific WSDL part types. The templated pattern is used to wrap the original business object with the enriched business graph schema. The templated business graph is created by extending the business graph complex type that is provided by the business object framework runtime and adding an element delegating to the original business object.

Statistical estimation techniques are used to achieve resolution enhancement, while properly accounting for the Poisson noise distribution and other artifacts introduced by a modulator or “chopper” or other system components. Indeed, a resolution similar to that of modem spectrometers can be achieved with a dramatic performance advantage over conventional, serial detection analyzers. Both static and dynamic behaviors are theoretically or measured experimentally accounted for in the model as determined. The fixed and moving capacitive sensors are instead making only electrical contact with each other when the height gauge is making upward and downward movements.

Abstract: A device having an organic transistor device integrated with an organic light-emitting diode's heterojunctions. This device at least comprises: a transparent substrate, an organic transistor and an organic light-emitting diode. The organic transistor at least includes an organic semiconductor layer, one of the organic semiconductor layers serves as the organic active layer of the organic light-emitting diode, and the organic active layer and the other organic semiconductor layers form heterojunctions. The present invention uses the organic semiconductor layer to simultaneously form the organic active layer of the organic transistor, so that the organic light-emitting diode and the organic transistor can be easily integrated together so as to solve the problem of the poor luminance efficiency of a conventional integrated organic transistor and organic light-emitting diode and the problem of its high manufacturing cost.
