  • Patent number: 10658614
Abstract: The embodiments of the disclosure provide a method of encapsulating a flexible OLED panel and an encapsulation structure of a flexible OLED panel. The method of encapsulating a flexible OLED panel includes: forming a liquid metal layer on a first inorganic barrier layer covering the OLED device; using oxygen to oxidize the liquid metal layer, and forming a liquid metal oxide layer on a surface of the liquid metal layer; and sequentially forming an organic buffer layer and a second inorganic barrier layer on the liquid metal oxide layer to obtain an encapsulation structure. The first inorganic barrier layer, the second inorganic barrier layer, the liquid metal layer and the liquid metal oxide layer could prevent penetration of water and oxygen, and the liquid metal layer and the organic buffer layer could release the interlayer stress of the encapsulation structure in order to keep the flexibility of the encapsulation structure.

  • Patent number: 10658611
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a encapsulation method and a encapsulation structure of an OLED panel. In the encapsulation method of the OLED panel, a circle of liquid metal is disposed on the encapsulation cover plate inside the sealant, the encapsulation cover plate and the TFT substrate are vacuum-sealed to obtain the encapsulation structure. When the external water and oxygen penetrate through the organic material sealant into the encapsulation structure, the liquid metal will react with the invading oxygen and forms a liquid metal oxide film on its surface to form a dense water-oxygen barrier layer, which can effectively prevent water and oxygen from entering the OLED device to achieve a great encapsulation effect.

  • Patent number: 10431770
Abstract: An OLED panel includes a substrate, a cover plate, an organic light-emitting layer arranged between the substrate and the cover plate, a water-blocking layer packing the organic light-emitting layer on a surface of the substrate, and a ring-like composite encapsulating material layer arranged between the substrate and the cover plate. The composite encapsulating material layer surrounds the water-blocking layer. The composite encapsulating material layer and the water-blocking layer are sealed between the substrate and the cover plate. The composite encapsulating material layer is made of a nano-resin material. A method for fabricating the OLED panel is also provided. The nano-resin material with better adhesion and toughness is used as a encapsulating material of the OLED panel to have compactness and properties of blocking water and oxygen, thereby replacing a dam and a getter and realizing a narrow-bezel encapsulation for OLEDs with a large size.

  • Publication number: 20190207152
Abstract: An OLED panel includes a substrate, a cover plate, an organic light-emitting layer arranged between the substrate and the cover plate, and a glass layer encapsulated on the substrate and ends of the cover plate. The width of the substrate is larger than the width of the cover plate. The glass layer is formed on the surface of the substrate that faces toward the cover plate, and the glass layer wraps the ends of the cover plate to encapsulate the organic light-emitting layer in a space enclosed by the substrate, the cover plate, and the glass layer. A method for fabricating an OLED panel is also provided. Using speed and precision advantages of the three dimensional technology, the present invention prints a glass-packaging material at an outer perimeter of a glass frit encapsulation.

  • Publication number: 20190131585
Abstract: The present invention provides a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition apparatus and an encapsulation method of an OLED panel. A straight line extending in an extending direction of the cathode of the plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition apparatus oblique to the horizontal plane. The anode plate, the grid plate and the insulating plate are provided with the channel communicating with the cavity and extending in the same direction as the extending direction of the cathode. Therefore, the rotating shaft is driven to rotate the OLED substrate, inert gas or nitrogen gas is injected into the cavity, and a first reaction gas is injected under one end of the channel near to the base. A second reaction gas is injected under the anode plate through the second reaction gas injection port and a direct current voltage is applied between the anode plate and the cathode.
