Then, the electronic device may register in a 4G mobile communications network.

    Abstract: A data transmission management method is applied to a first electronic device that has a first link with a wireless access point. The method includes: determining, in response to a user operation, a second electronic device that performs data transmission with the first electronic device, where a second link exists between the second electronic device and the wireless access point; establishing a third link configured to perform data transmission with the second electronic device; and when a first preset condition is met, establishing a fourth link connected to the second electronic device and disconnecting the first link; or when a first preset condition is met, establishing a fourth link connected to the second electronic device and maintaining the first link, where a frequency band in which the third link is located is different from a preset frequency band. In embodiments of this application, data transmission efficiency can be improved.

    Abstract: This application provides a communications system for improving a telephone call completion rate in an SA network and user equipment. According to solutions of this application, in a scenario in which calling UE resides in an LTE network or a 5G SA network and called UE resides in the 5G SA network, when the calling UE fails to call the called UE through an IMS domain, the calling and called ends cooperatively execute a call saving policy: The calling UE performs a call retry, for example, when a VoNR call or an EPS fallback call fails, falls back to LTE to initiate a VoLTE call retry, or initiates a CSFB call retry on LTE when the VoLTE call fails. The called UE falls back to the LTE network or a CS domain, and cooperates with the calling UE to complete the call. In this way, a probability that the UE successfully initiates a call can be improved, a call requirement of a user can be met, and call experience of the user can be ensured.

One example method includes a terminal initiates a reestablishment procedure when a handover procedure of the terminal fails. When a base station reselected by the terminal is a base station (that is, a target base station) to which the terminal is handed over in a handover procedure, and because a key of the base station is updated in the handover procedure, the base station includes key derivation information in a reestablishment message to be sent to the terminal. Therefore, the terminal can update a key of the terminal based on the key derivation information, so that the key of the terminal can be consistent with the key of the base station.
