  • Patent number: 12383063
Abstract: A deck chair with a seat has two opposite sides and two handrails, each handrail being arranged on one of the two opposite sides of the seat; a back arranged behind the seat and located between the two handrails; a footrest arranged in front of the seat and lower than a height of the seat; wherein, the back is rotatable relative to the seat, and the footrest is movable and is capable of extending back and forth relative to the seat. Various sitting postures and lying postures can be realized by adjusting the footrest and the back, thereby satisfying various needs and greatly expanding applicability.

  • Publication number: 20250072613
Abstract: A chair comprises a seat; two support legs; a back; and a reinforcing member. The two support legs are separated and arranged under the seat for supporting the seat; the reinforcing member is U-shaped with two ends, and the two ends of the reinforcing member respectively expand outward forming two connecting portions, a tail end of each connecting portion is connected to the bottom end of each support leg. The reinforcing member of a front chair is capable of being inserted into the reinforcing member of a rear chair, and the reinforcing member of the front chair is located above the reinforcing member of the rear chair; in this way, multiple chairs can be stacked one by one, thereby greatly reducing the placement space of the chairs.

  • Publication number: 20200111379
Abstract: A method for mitigating variability in standardized examination administration includes obtaining testing conditions associated with the administration of standardized examinations, obtaining indications that testing conditions from the first set of testing conditions are irregular, training a machine learning-based irregularity determination model based on the indications and corresponding testing conditions, displaying the identified irregular testing conditions on a user interface, and verifying the accuracy of the irregularity determination model.

  • Publication number: 20160035236
Abstract: An improved method is provided for maximizing accuracy of ability estimates while permitting a test taker to review and/or change responses in computer adaptive testing. One or more ability-dependent items are selected from a pool of adaptive items, the selected ability-dependent item matching interim ability estimates for an examinee. One or more ability-independent items are selected from a pool of non-adaptive items. The interim ability estimate can be generated after each iteration of responses to ability-dependent and/or ability-independent items. The ability-independent items can be randomly dispersed throughout the computer adaptive test. A prescribed ratio can be maintained between the ability-dependent items and ability-independent items for minimizing overestimation of the examinee's ability scores after reviewing and changing one or more test items in the computer adaptive test.

  • Publication number: 20060138808
Abstract: This invention discloses a leisure time use easy chair, especially for use in the garden or camping. The chair includes a back, a seat, and a leg rest, with a piece of fabric stretched over the surfaces being formed by these elements, a pair of armrests, and a base with front and rear legs. The chair further includes a transverse link between the front and rear legs. This link has a sliding locking mechanism to maintain a certain incline angle of the back and the leg rest. The position of the sliding mechanism decreases the risk of harm to the user's fingers. In addition, the chair is fully collapsible. The object of the present invention is firstly to solve the problem of safety, and secondly to provide an esthetic and more comfortable easy chair.
