Publication number: 20250247908Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect one or more triggering conditions indicating that the UE is traveling along the route, and should enter the high mobility operating mode to improve mobility procedure performance or processor performance. Upon entering the high mobility operating mode, the UE may perform mobility procedures, handover procedures, cell selection or reselection, or connection procedures. For example, the UE may determine which cell it is approaching, and which cell it is leaving, along the route, which may allow the UE to avoid being assigned to handover to a cell that it is leaving, prioritize or deprioritize measurement reports for UEs that the UE is leaving or approaching, update the contents or timing of measurement reporting, or the like.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 10, 2022Publication date: July 31, 2025Inventors: Xuqiang Zhang, Arvind Vardarajan Santhanam, Jie Mao, Nanrun Wu, Tom Chin, Wei-Jei Song, Jiaheng Liu, Fei Liang, Liang Hong, Zhongyue Lou, Jiming Guo, Peng Hu, Xianwei Zhu, Xiaochen Chen, Jun Deng, Hewu Gu, Kuo-Chun Lee, Rajeev Pal

Publication number: 20250212078Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for expediting mobility. One example method generally involves receiving signaling, from a serving cell of a first radio access technology (RAT), indicating a first list of frequencies associated with the first RAT and corresponding priority levels: performing idle measurements for frequencies in the first list, while camped on a serving cell of a second RAT: setting cell reselection thresholds to apply to the idle measurements for the frequencies in the first list, based on a relative priority of the serving cell of the second RAT to the frequencies in the first list: and performing cell reselection procedures based on the idle measurements for the frequencies and the determined cell reselection thresholds.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2022Publication date: June 26, 2025Inventors: Hewu GU, Jun DENG, Yi REN, Hongye WU, Lei ZOU, Tom CHIN, Xiaochen CHEN, Nitin PANT, Zhongyue LOU

Patent number: 12323288Abstract: A computer-implemented method for classifying an input signal that is ascertained as a function of an output signal of a sensor as to whether or not it has an anomaly, it being decided, as a function of an output signal of an autoencoder (60) to which the input signal is supplied, whether or not the input signal has the anomaly. The autoencoder has at least one encoder and at least one decoder. An intermediate variable is ascertained as a function of the input signal by the encoder, and the output signal is ascertained by the decoder as a function of the intermediate variable. The autoencoder provides, for the input signal supplied to it, a plurality of hypotheses of formula for the reconstruction of the input signal, and the output signal is ascertained as a function of this plurality of hypotheses of formula.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2019Date of Patent: June 3, 2025Assignee: ROBERT BOSCH GMBHInventors: Duc Tam Nguyen, Michael Klar, Zhongyu Lou

Publication number: 20240007910Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station according to a first radio access technology (RAT) in a first frequency range. The UE may perform measurements on a set of candidate cells of a second RAT or a second frequency range based on a determination for the UE to operate according to the second RAT or the second frequency range. The UE may perform a mobility procedure to establish a connection with a first cell of the set of candidate cells based on a determination that a first value of a first measurement parameter for the first cell satisfies a first threshold, and further based on a comparison of a different, second value of a second measurement parameter for the first cell to a second threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2021Publication date: January 4, 2024Inventors: Xianwei Zhu, Jianqiang Zhang, Xuqiang Zhang, Xiaochen Chen, Xiaoning Lu, Yifan Du, Qiang Deng, Jinglei Tian, Jie Mao, Arvind Vardarajan Santhanam, Yong Hou, Shan Qing, Zhongyue Lou, Tom Chin, Wei-Jei Song, Mingchun Yang, Sathish Krishnamoorthy, Rajeev Pal

Publication number: 20230354156Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a SIB1 message from a base station. The SIB1 message lists first and second public land mobile network identifiers (PLMN IDs), the first PLMN ID having a corresponding tracking area code (TAC) and the second PLMN ID not having a TAC. The UE reports the first PLMN ID and TAC but not the second PLMN ID while performing PLMN selection. In another aspect, the UE unsuccessfully attempts to select or reselect to a shared cell of the base station with the second PLMN ID. In response to the failed attempt, the UE bars the shared cell as a candidate for cell selection/reselection, due to a missing TAC. When the UE attempts to select or reselect to the shared cell with the first PLMN ID, which may or may not have a TAC, the UE reevaluates the barring due to selection of the first PLMN ID.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 3, 2021Publication date: November 2, 2023Inventors: Peng HU, Hewu GU, Jun DENG, Ling XIE, Liang HONG, Xuqiang ZHANG, Xiaochen CHEN, Yong HOU, Xiaoning LU, Shan QING, Zhongyue LOU, Tom CHIN

Publication number: 20220377832Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first connected mode discontinuous reception (CDRX) configuration from a first cell associated with a first radio access technology (RAT), the first CDRX configuration includes a first indication of a first on occasion. The UE may receive a second CDRX configuration from a second cell associated with a second RAT, the second CDRX configuration includes a second indication of a second on occasion. The UE may determine that the first on occasion and the second on occasion are separated by a threshold. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the determination that the first on occasion and the second on occasion are separated by the threshold, a CDRX reconfiguration request message.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2019Publication date: November 24, 2022Inventors: Ling XIE, Wei SUN, Jie MAO, Xuepan GUAN, Xiaoyu LI, Tom CHIN, Lei SHEN, Shan QING, Zhongyue LOU, Qingxin CHEN, Xiantao LIU, Xiaochen CHEN
