  • Publication number: 20240299154
Abstract: A method of an intestinal protective ostomy with the use of a degradable intestinal diversion device and an intubation includes steps of: preparing the degradable intestinal complete diversion device; after cutting off the terminal ileum intestine, measuring the diameter of the intestine, and then selecting a degradable intestinal diversion device of appropriate specifications according to the diameter of the intestine; when diverting, placing the device in the intestinal cavity, and fixing the ileum on the device with a thread at the convex ring; inserting the stoma drainage tube in the proximal ileum where the device is placed against the direction of intestinal peristalsis; and disintegrating and discharging the device with the contents of the intestine. The invention used with a drainage tube realizes complete intestinal diversion without secondary operations of stoma reintroduction.

  • Publication number: 20240094563
Abstract: An automatic righting system includes a discrimination calibration module, a righting module, and a controller. The discrimination calibration module includes a distance sensing unit. The distance sensing unit is located at the front end of the glasses and configured to acquire the distance between the distance sensing unit and a first feature position. The righting module includes a push-up air cushion. The push-up air cushion is mounted at the front end of the glasses. The push-up air cushion is configured to be inflated to push the glasses to move upward. The controller is electrically connected to the distance sensing unit and the push-up air cushion. The controller is configured to control the push-up air cushion to start or stop to right the glasses according to a distance signal of the distance sensing unit.

  • Publication number: 20230410228
Abstract: Fast simultaneous feasibility testing (SFT) for management of an electrical power grid is achieved through various innovations. The computation problem relates to evaluation of candidate solutions for external power flows into a power grid, with respect to predetermined constraints and contingencies. A perturbation approach with precomputation is extended to encompass grid states (e.g. time periods) in addition to contingencies. Advantages derive from: fewer factorizations or inversions of large matrices; decoupling of state-dependent and contingency-dependent perturbations, leaving relatively few perturbations jointly dependent on both state and contingency; or making approximations by discarding small jointly dependent terms. Significant computation reductions allow a single workstation to perform SFT for 36 hours of a day-ahead cycle.
