    Abstract: Disclosed are single-metallocene catalyst systems and processes for polymerizing olefins using new metallocenes and solid super acids (SSA) activator-support combinations which produce polyethylenes having a higher PDI (polydispersity index, Mw/Mn) and a lower LCB (long chain branching) as compared to polyethylenes produced with a benchmark metallocene. A series of silyl-bridged bis(indenyl) metallocenes having an omega-(?-)alkenyl moiety on the silyl bridge were prepared and found to exhibit excellent polymerization activities and produced polyethylenes with broad molecular weight distributions, relatively high melt indices, and low levels of long chain branching (LCB) as compared with the silyl-bridged metallocenes absent an ?-alkenyl moiety on the silyl bridge.

In response to determining that the TPM is unlocked, locking, by the virtual machine monitor, the TPM to allow the TPM to be accessed only by the first virtual machine, and sending a first decision message to the first virtual machine indicating the first virtual machine to start performing a first access operation on the TPM. Receiving, by the virtual machine monitor, a second notification message from the first virtual machine, and unlocking, by the virtual machine monitor, the TPM in response to the second notification message.

A second memory page is determined from the memory, where the second memory page is located outside the secure memory area. Based on a physical address of the second memory page by using a memory encryption engine (MEE) of a processor, target data stored on the to-be-swapped-out first memory page is encrypted to obtain a target ciphertext. The target ciphertext is written on the second memory page. The to-be-swapped-out first memory page is released and the second memory page is locked, so that the target data is allowed to swap only from the second memory page into the secure memory area.

    Abstract: Disclosed are metallocene compounds, catalyst compositions and methods for making catalyst compositions, and processes for polymerizing olefins. In an aspect, a series of cyclopentadienyl tert-butyl fluorenyl metallocenes featuring various alkylsulfide groups on a carbon bridge linking the cyclopentadienyl tert-butyl fluorenyl ligands were prepared and evaluated as ethylene polymerization catalysts in the presence of metallocene activators, such as solid super acids (SSA). The metallocenes containing these tethered alkylsulfide substituents provide catalysts which exhibited excellent ethylene polymerization activities comparable to the analogous metallocenes containing tethered olefins and polyethylenes with reduced long chain branching (LCB) relative to metallocenes with a saturated hydrocarbyl tether.

    Abstract: A magnet-driven bistable dynamic bioreactor, its manufacturing method, and application thereof are provided. The bioreactor has a magnet-driven bistable actuator, a magnetic field generation module, and a connected temperature control module. The magnet-driven bistable actuator includes a magnetic bistable arch membrane. The magnetic field generation module provides a direction-alternating magnetic field, which drives the magnetic bistable arch membrane to switch states between different configurations. This process applies adjustable frequency biaxial bi-directional loading on cells that cultured on membrane, simulating real tissue loading. The temperature control module regulates the temperature of the magnet-driven bistable actuator. The bioreactor enables adjustable frequency biaxial bi-directional loading on cells cultured on the magnetic bistable arch membrane by utilizing an alternating magnetic field to switch its configuration.

    Abstract: A method for forming a complex shape three-dimensional ceramic article by printing a first layer of a first material having a first fraction of first ceramic particles and a first fraction of a first polymeric ceramic precursor. A second layer is printed such that it is at least partially disposed on the first layer of a second material having a second fraction of second ceramic particles and a second fraction of a second polymeric ceramic precursor. A composite of the first layer and the second layer is heated at a temperature sufficient to decompose the first and second polymeric ceramic precursors and sinter the article. During the sintering process, the first and second layers with different fractions of ceramic particles undergo different degrees of shrinkage, resulting in a tuneable mismatch of the bilayer structure and accurately achieving a targeted geometry.
