    Abstract: A method for use with a stream of images defining a video. The method includes the steps of periodically conducting a face finding operation on an image in the stream. In respect to the last image in the stream preceding the image in which one or more faces was found, a tracker based upon wavelet decomposition is used to find a face for each face found in the last image for which no counterpart was found in the image.
