Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for methods and apparatuses for facilitating signaling of multiple timing advance (TA) values to a user equipment (UE), facilitating the use of multiple TA values by a UE for communication with multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs), and facilitating updating of TA values in a wireless communications network. A UE comprises a transceiver and a processor operably coupled to the transceiver. The transceiver is configured to receive a first TA command that includes a first TA value and a first TA group (TAG) identifier (ID) associated with a first entity, and a second TA value and a second TAG ID associated with a second entity. The processor is configured to identify a TAG ID associated with an uplink (UL) transmission, and identify, based on the TAG ID, a TA value. The transceiver is further configured to transmit the UL transmission using the TA value.

  • Publication number: 20240235840
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to optimizing a security and recoverability trade-off generally associated with cryptocurrency master key storage. Exemplary embodiments provide a biometrically derived cryptographic seed using a measurement of one or more scale invariant biometric attributes associated with a user. The measured user biometric data is then processed into a repeatable biometric identifier and formatted into a (biometric) cryptographic seed, for derivation of a master extended private key, which may be stored in an HD wallet or used dynamically to conduct a blockchain transaction. The biometric seed and master key generation process may be facilitated by a mobile application responsive to a readout of biometric data from sensors integrated/associated with the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20240230254
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for identifying and eliminating ammonium salt deposition characteristics in a pipe of a hydrogenation air cooler. A multiphase flow medium enters an inlet pipe box of a hydrogenation air cooler; cross sections and temperature transmitters are arranged on a pipe bundle of the air cooler in the axial direction; a temperature signal value is monitored and transmitted to a single-chip microcomputer for analysis; an infrared thermal imager performs photographing, and transmits data to determine that an ammonium salt deposition risk is present under this working condition; a monitored temperature value is calculated, an ammonium salt deposition risk identification model is established, and ammonium salt deposits are peeled off from the inner wall of the pipe bundle of the air cooler by means of vibration of the pipe bundle caused by the intermittent frequent switching-on/switching-off of an electromagnet and a magnetic block, and ultrasonic signals.

  • Publication number: 20240233318
Abstract: An image generation system implements a multi-branch GAN to generate images that each express visually similar content in a different modality. A generator portion of the multi-branch GAN includes multiple branches that are each tasked with generating one of the different modalities. A discriminator portion of the multi-branch GAN includes multiple fidelity discriminators, one for each of the generator branches, and a consistency discriminator, which constrains the outputs generated by the different generator branches to appear visually similar to one another. During training, outputs from each of the fidelity discriminators and the consistency discriminator are used to compute a non-saturating GAN loss. The non-saturating GAN loss is used to refine parameters of the multi-branch GAN during training until model convergence. The trained multi-branch GAN generates multiple images from a single input, where each of the multiple images depicts visually similar content expressed in a different modality.

  • Publication number: 20240228035
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle that is equipped with image capture devices can use information gathered from the image capture devices to plan a future three-dimensional (3D) trajectory through a physical environment. To this end, a technique is described for image-space based motion planning. In an embodiment, a planned 3D trajectory is projected into an image-space of an image captured by the autonomous vehicle. The planned 3D trajectory is then optimized according to a cost function derived from information (e.g., depth estimates) in the captured image. The cost function associates higher cost values with identified regions of the captured image that are associated with areas of the physical environment into which travel is risky or otherwise undesirable. The autonomous vehicle is thereby encouraged to avoid these areas while satisfying other motion planning objectives.

  • Publication number: 20240233348
Abstract: The present application discloses a label generation method including identifying an unlabeled image by a teacher model and a student model respectively to obtain first classification reference information of the teacher model and second classification reference information of the student model. A first number of detection objects of each category in the teacher model is determined according to the first classification reference information, and a second number of detection objects of each category in student model is determined according to the second classification reference information. Once a probability threshold of each category is determined according to the first number of detection objects and the second number of detection objects, a pseudo label of the unlabeled image is generated for the student model according to the first classification reference information and a probability threshold of each predicted category.
