Abstract: A method for obtaining sensing data includes transmitting, by a network function element to a terminal device, sensing data request information comprising parameters for sensing and reporting data by the terminal device. The sensing data request information indicates, to the terminal device, to report sensing data to the network function element according to the parameters. The method further includes obtaining sensing data returned by the terminal device, the sensing data being transmitted by the terminal device according to the parameters indicated in the sensing data request information. The method further includes preprocessing, by the network function element, the sensing data and providing a result of the preprocessing to a server.

Abstract: In a data packet transmission method, a target data detection rule and a target processing rule for a target service flow are obtained, and a to-be-forwarded data packet is received. Based on the to-be-forwarded packet, a target data packet is determined. The target data packet belongs to a target group of the target service flow based on target data packet distinguishing information and a target group identifier that are included in the target data detection rule. Data packet loss information of the target data packet in the target group is determined. The target group is determined to be a target to-be-discarded group based on the data packet loss information in the target group and a target-group data packet loss threshold included in the target processing rule.

Abstract: In a sensing data reporting method, sensing data request information is received from a control network element. The sensing data request information includes sensing data reporting information of target sensing data to be reported. The target sensing data is generated according to the sensing data reporting information included in the sensing data request information. A communication session is established according to a user equipment route selection policy when the communication session between the terminal device and a target network element is not established. The target sensing data is reported to the target network element via the communication session.

Abstract: A method for controlling transmission of a media stream service includes: receiving, from a network node in a data network, policy template information for controlling transmission of media stream services and service differentiators corresponding to the policy template information; determining a service differentiator of a to-be-initiated media stream service based on the policy template information and the service differentiators; determining whether a protocol data unit session capable of carrying the to-be-initiated media stream service exists; binding the to-be-initiated media stream service to the quality of service stream in the protocol data unit session in response to a determination that the protocol data unit session exists; and establishing, in response to a determination that the protocol data unit session does not exist, a protocol data unit session including the quality of service stream corresponding to the service differentiator of the to-be-initiated media stream service.

Abstract: A method includes sending, by an application function network element, a round trip time request of a service flow to a policy control function (PCF) network element, and a first quality of service detection policy is generated and sent, by the PCF network element, to a session management function (SMF) network element. In response to receiving a quality of service detection request, a UPF side round trip time overtime message is generated by the first UPF network element when a current UPF side round trip time of the service flow between a terminal and the first UPF network element exceeds the first UPF side round trip time threshold value. In response to receiving the UPF side round trip time overtime message, a processing mode is determined by the PCF network element for the service flow to meet the round trip time request.

Abstract: A metrics collecting method includes: obtaining metrics configuration information, the metrics configuration information including information of a metrics reporting time segment; generating metrics reporting configuration information of a media streaming service; and transmitting the metrics reporting configuration information to a user equipment to cause the user equipment to perform metrics reporting of the media streaming service. The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure may control the metrics reporting of the user equipment with enhanced flexibity.

The message handling rule set includes at least one message handling rule. The message handling rule set is sent to an edge application server discovery function (EASDF) of the core network.
