    Abstract: Pedal device for rotary attachment to a pedal crank arm of physical training apparatus, e.g. a bicycle, said device comprising a first pedal rotatably attached to a pedal shaft, said pedal shaft at a free end thereof firmly attachable to said crank arm, and said first pedal having a first pedal engagement face for use in carrying out conventional training exercise. Said device is provided with a second pedal tiltably attached to said first pedal about an axis extending transversely through a longitudinal axis of said pedal shaft and parallel to said first pedal face approximately midway between an inner and an outer end thereof. Said second pedal has second pedal engagement face facing away from said first pedal engagement face and spaced from said transversely extending axis, and said second pedal is tiltable to either side relative to said first pedal by an acute angle, e.g. in the range 0-35 degrees.

    Abstract: An operating device having a control button that is tiltable relative to the operating device housing, and where the device has switch elements for actuating on manipulation of the control button, e.g., by tilting, at least one of the switch elements. The control button has a downward projecting, central, spring-supported boss that is rounded at the bottom, is tiltably supported in a tiltable shaft in the housing and, preferably against spring action, is displaceable along a limited portion of the shaft. Projecting from the boss, transverse to the direction of the shaft there is provided a pair of oppositely oriented projections. Located in the housing and spaced from the underside of the control button is a plurality of switch elements that are positioned two-dimensionally. In a first pair of switch elements, each of the elements is designed to be actuated by a respective end area of the shaft on the tilting thereof in one direction or the other.

    Abstract: A keypad for telephones and the like, preferably mobile telephones. There is provided at least one actuating mechanism (1) for stepwise input of call symbols. There is provided an additional mechanism for confirming the respective stepwise selected symbols or this consists of the actual actuating mechanism, pressure on or bending of the actuating mechanism causing the selection of symbols to be carried out. The actuating mechanism may consist of the telephone housing in that the housing is divided into an upper part (5) and a lower part (4) which are rotatable relative to one another, by a wheel (1) that is rotatable relative to the housing, and that is provided with call symbols or interacts with a scale provided with call symbols, a sliding key which can be moved in a groove provided in the telephone housing or on a slide bar affixed to the housing, or one or more keys for moving a marker in a menu on a display device (3).
