The method includes: determining whether the first storage layer meets a merge condition for merging with the second storage layer, and if yes, selecting a to-be-merged target file from the at least one first file stored at the first storage layer, where the target file includes data corresponding to a target type; and searching the plurality of second sub-files for a target sub-file that includes data corresponding to the target type, and merging the target file and the target sub-file.

Abstract: This specification disclose methods, apparatus, devices, and systems for encoding and decoding data. In one implementation, a method includes: obtaining instance data, and generating, based on ontology definition data, encoded data corresponding to the instance data. The encoded data comprise a data area storing valid fields of the instance data, and a description part. The description part is configured to describe a distribution of the valid field by using validity information of the fields when a quantity of the invalid fields is greater than or equal to a first threshold. The description part is configured to describe a distribution of the valid field by using at least one of size information or type information of the fields when the quantity of the plurality of invalid fields is smaller than the first threshold.

Abstract: A storage system includes a storage device and a managing device. The managing device receives a data write request, determines a data category of a to-be-written data page, designates different logical blocks for to-be-written data pages of different data categories, and sends a data write instruction to the storage device, where the data write instruction carries to-be-written data pages corresponding to at least one designated logical block. The storage device is configured to receive the data write instruction, and write the to-be-written data page corresponding to the at least one designated logical block to a physical block corresponding to the at least one designated logical block, where to-be-written data pages written to each physical block are corresponding to a same logical block.
