  • Publication number: 20240043959
Abstract: A system and method for producing an intermediate metal product without generating significant carbon dioxide emissions is described herein. A metal oxide heated by at least one laser, combined with a heated reducing agent, produce an intermediate metal product. Further processing may produce a metal, which may optionally be combined with at least one alloying element to produce a metal alloy and may have impurities removed. A resultant metal powder from even further processing may be produced.

  • Publication number: 20220021202
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-adaptive positive-sequence current quick-break protection method for a petal-shaped power distribution network trunk line. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, calculating a positive-sequence voltage phasor and a positive-sequence current amplitude at a protection installation position when a fault occurs, acquiring and storing a positive sequence impedance value of a protected line; judging a fault type, and judging a fault direction; step 2, when a fault direction element judges that a fault occurs in the forward direction, selecting a self-adaptive current quick-break protection setting formula according to the fault type, and when positive sequence current measured by protection is larger than a protection setting value, judging that the protected line has a short-circuit fault, and making a circuit breaker trip quickly.

  • Patent number: 8633000
Abstract: Processes for producing a suitable purity grade of L-Citrulline are disclosed. The processes can include contacting crude L-Citrulline in an aqueous solution with an adsorptive medium at a temperature above approximately 50° C. and below the temperature of denaturement for the L-Citrulline for an interval sufficient to remove at least one contaminant from the L-Citrulline. The processes can also include concentrating the dissolved L-Citrulline relative to the aqueous solution.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 14, 2012
Date of Patent: January 21, 2014
    Assignee: Global Strategic Connections, LLC
