  • Publication number: 20240275037
Abstract: A cylindrical focusing lens, including a dielectric radome (9, 49) and artificial dielectric material, in which the artificial dielectric material includes a plurality of sheets of a foam dielectric material disposed in layers and a plurality of conductive tubes placed in the sheets of the foam dielectric material, in which the conductive tubes disposed in the sheets of the foam dielectric material form a circle (5, 45) and a ring (8, 48) surrounding the circle (5, 45) and separated from the circle (5, 45) and from the radome (9, 49) by rings (10, 12, 50, 52) of the foam dielectric material without the conductive tubes. The aforementioned lens overcome the deficiencies of the known lenses made of lightweight artificial dielectric material and is well matched with a free space. Additionally, the lens is simpler to manufacture than known analogous.

  • Patent number: 11688951
Abstract: The application discloses a wideband dual-polarized antenna, including a reflective plate and a radiating element mounted on the reflective plate. The radiating element includes four dipoles which are combined together to be arranged on the reflective plate; two arms of each dipole are respectively connected to top ends of two conductor, and bottom ends of the conductor are connected to a common base and are placed on the reflective plate; a focusing member with a conical structure is mounted above the radiating element, and includes conductive members and dielectric members. The conductive members are arranged on the dielectric members in an axisymmetrical manner, are supported by the dielectric members and are arranged above the dipoles. The beamwidth is adjusted by arranging the focusing member with the conical structure above the radiating element so that the wideband dual-polarized antenna has the beamwidth reaching the desired range, has lower cross polarization ratio.

  • Patent number: 10272387
Abstract: To provide a modified forward osmosis (FO) membrane module for flow regime improvement, the FO membrane module includes but not limited to: a water inlet; a water outlet; a forward osmosis (FO) membrane; a frame; and folded plates for improving flow regime in which draw solution is introduced into the water inlet of membrane module, then flowed through flow channels composed by three opposite folded plates vertically arranged on upper and bottom portions of the frame alternatively along horizontal direction with equal space; and drawn out from the water outlet. The flow regime improvement is achieved by increasing number of flow-guide folded plate, which results in the decrease of internal concentration polarization and membrane fouling. Structure of frame is modified to improve flow regime and to satisfy requirement of convenient and reliable connections between numbers of membrane modules in the FO membrane system.
