Abstract: A video data processing method is provided to a server. The method includes: obtaining a video sequence associated with a video source and obtaining a video quality standard parameter associated with the video sequence; determining a video feature according to video quality standard parameter; predicting an encoding bit rate according to the video quality standard parameter and the video feature; and encoding the video sequence according to the encoding bit rate to obtain an encoded video sequence associated with the video source.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a video stream is provided. In the method, video data of a video to be transmitted in the video stream is obtained. Target video scenes of the video are detected. Further, target transmission parameters are determined for the video data corresponding to the respective target video scenes of the video. The video data corresponding to the respective target video scenes is encoded for transmission based on the target transmission parameters.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a video preloading method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a playing request for playing a first video in a first application client; detecting a data transmission speed of a network of the first application client when playing the first video; adjusting, according to the detected data transmission speed, a preloading length of the first video in the first application client; and preloading, in the first application client, video frames of the first video based on the preloading length of the first video.
