    Abstract: A method of improving renal function is disclosed. A suspension of small, unilamellar vesicles composed primarily of phospholipids similar in nature to those of egg phosphatidylcholine is administered parenterally to a subject in need of such improvement repeatedly and over an extended period of time of at least several days, until a significant drop in plasma creatinine concentration is observed.
