  • Publication number: 20240110326
Abstract: A fabric article warmer and dryer is disclosed and includes a fabric article receptacle with a heated air inlet and an opening to the fabric article receptacle delineated by a rim, a lid selectively covering the opening in a closed configuration, and a forced heated air unit providing a flow of heated air to the heated air inlet and into the fabric article receptacle. The present fabric article warmer and dryer includes one or both of a fabric article hanger being positioned above the rim in at least an open configuration and a protruded portion protruding from a bottom wall of the fabric article receptacle into the fabric article receptacle with the heated air inlet being formed therethrough. A fabric article is placed therewithin, with the lid on, in a heating process and is hooked to the fabric article hanger, with the lid opened, in a drying process.

  • Publication number: 20230371687
Abstract: The present specification discloses a wall cabinet having a cabinet box mounted to a wall, generally behind a bathroom vanity, with a mirrored door coupled to the cabinet box through a linkage frame that permits the linkage frame to rotate about the cabinet box by a first side and the mirrored door to rotate about the second side of the linkage frame. In this way, the mirrored front surface of the mirrored door can be arranged by the user to position the mirrored surface closer and at a better angle to the user. This permits the user to closely view the mirrored front surface while remaining in a more ergonomically correct position, without undue leaning over the vanity. The unique design of the linkage frame permits the user to reach into the interior space of the vanity box when the mirrored door is open relative to the linkage frame.

  • Patent number: 10349725
Abstract: A portable mirror includes a pancake-shaped housing which contains a concave reflective mirror plate in a front side of the housing and a circular array of suction cups attached to a rear wall of the housing by re-positionable joints that enable the suction cups to be slid radially outwards to facilitate temporarily attaching the mirror to a flat surface, and slid radially inwards into slots provided in the rear wall of the housing to retract the suction cups into positions which inhibit accidental adherence to or entanglement with items typically carried in a purse. The mirror includes an LED illuminator which is powered by an internal battery and extends outwardly from the housing and emits light upwardly and inwardly toward a longitudinal center line of the mirror plate, thus obliquely illuminating a face which may viewed in the mirror, while avoiding direct illumination of the eyes.

  • Patent number: 10281136
Abstract: An illuminating tweezers for grasping and manipulating small articles includes a single light emitting diode (LED) and powering battery located in an upper centrally-located barrel end of a monolithic body made of a light transmissive polymer. A beam-splitter lens molded into the body splits a single beam of light emitted by the LED into a pair of beams which are directed into upper ends of a pair of elastically bendable arms that depend downwardly from opposed longitudinal sides of the barrel. The pair of light beams are conducted downwardly through the arms by total internal reflection, and reflected downwardly and inwardly towards an illumination region located between lower ends of the arms by downwardly and inwardly oriented oblique end faces at lower ends of the arms.

  • Patent number: 10117499
Abstract: An automatically filling fogless shower mirror includes a mirror assembly having a mirror which thermally conductively contacts a water reservoir within the mirror assembly that communicates at the upper end thereof with a water-fill aperture. A tubular automatic water-filling adapter installable between a water supply pipe and a shower head has protruding from the adapter a flexible water supply tube which diverts a small portion of water flowing through the adapter into an inlet opening of the tube, which is discharged from an outlet opening in a distal end of the tube which is removably inserted into the water-fill aperture. Heating of the mirror by warm water in the reservoir prevents fogging caused by condensation of water vapor. Water cooled by warming the mirror trickles from a small drain hole in the reservoir and is continuously replenished by warm water supplied by the automatic water-filling adapter.

  • Patent number: 9347660
Abstract: A mirror includes a frame holding therein back-to-back mirror plates having different magnification factors, e.g. 1× and 5×, each plate having a central reflective imaging area and a concentric light transmissive window. Continuously rotatable bushings supporting the frame between opposed arms of a yoke enable interchangeable orientation of 1× and 5× mirror plates in a forward-facing use position. A printed circuit board holding a circular ring of alternating yellow and white light emitting diodes (LED's) within the frame between the windows receives electrical power from a power supply in the base of the mirror via novel continuously rotatable two-conductor and single-conductor electrical connectors located in opposite sides of the frame and a coaxial cable and a single conductor wire disposed through opposed yoke-arm bushings, enabling energization of yellow, white, or both type LED's to thus illuminate a face or other object near the windows at three different selectable color temperatures.

  • Patent number: 8905560
Abstract: A magnifying spot mirror releasably attachable to a flat surface includes a circular concave mirror plate mounted on the front surface of a lenticular-shaped support body which has a convex, arcuately curved rear surface from which protrude satellite suction cups that have circular bases which lie in a convex plane and are radially spaced equidistant from the center of the support body and an optional center suction cup. Applying finger pressure to the center of the mirror causes a pair of centrally located suction cups and/or the optional center cup to hermetically grip a flat surface with the mirror parallel to the surface. Pressing on the mirror at a location offset from the center exerts a tensional unsealing force on radially inwardly located suction cups, and compressional sealing forces on outer satellite suction cups, thus re-positioning the mirror at a different orientation angle.

  • Patent number: 8746901
Abstract: A fogless shower mirror includes a mirror assembly having an elongated hollow body which has a thin, rectangular-shaped mirror frame section on which is mounted a mirror plate, and an upper rearwardly curved water supply conduit section. A rectangular slab-shaped reservoir within the mirror frame communicates at the upper end thereof with a bore through the water supply conduit, which has at an outer end thereof a vertically disposed water fill aperture. The reservoir and water supply conduit are filled with warm water, and the mirror assembly is releasably attached to a mirror support stand attached to a shower enclosure wall. The mirror plate is heated by the warm water in the reservoir to thus resist fogging caused by condensation of water vapor, Water cooled by warming the mirror plate trickles from a small drain hole in the reservoir and is replenished with warm water from the water supply conduit.
