  • Patent number: 11903720
Abstract: A system and method of detecting eye movements of a subject for the diagnosis of neurological disorders. The method includes tracking eye movements of the subject, identifying microsaccades from the tracked eye movements, and characterizing microsaccade dynamics of the identified microsaccades to determine one or more parameters, such as microsaccade direction, microsaccade velocity, microsaccade magnitude, microsaccadic peak velocity-magnitude relationship, microsaccade duration, and intersaccadic intervals. The method also includes comparing the one or more determined parameters with a corresponding control parameter, assessing the comparison to determine differences between the one or more determined parameters and the corresponding control parameters, and generating a report including the diagnosis of neurological disorder based on the assessment.

  • Publication number: 20230225611
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of processing data representative of a person’s binocular motricity, the method comprising the following steps: stimulating the binocular motricity of a person by means of a binocular motricity stimulation device (21) configured to specifically stimulate saccades, vergences or a combination of both or of a reading test (22); physical stimuli in 3D real space seen with both eyes naturally (without artifices); acquiring the movement of the right eye (RE) and the left eye (LE) of a person (P) during said stimulation and, if applicable, a stimulation signal from the binocular motor stimulation device; the method comprising the following steps implemented in a processing unit (3); determination from the movement of the left eye (LE) and the right eye (RE), of an effective trajectory (Tr1) of the eyes in response to each stimulation, an effective trajectory corresponding to a saccade and/or a vergence movement of the eyes.

  • Patent number: 8851669
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for rehabilitating and/or causing binocular motivity through sensory stimulation of a patient, said device including a planar stand (10) that is defined by a longitudinal axis of symmetry (AA?), the stand (10) including a plurality of means for transmitting at least one sensory stimulus, said transmission means including means for viewing a visual stimulus (101-136) and means for transmitting an auditory stimulus adjacent to the means for viewing a visual stimulus. The transmission means are evenly arranged along isovergence arcs (201-204) that are placed along the stand (10). Said device moreover includes a control system (20) that is at least intended for controlling the transmission of said at least one sensory stimulus (101-136).
