  • Patent number: 4188233
Abstract: There is disclosed a process for preparing hydraulic binding materials having a high bonding capacity, starting from glassy pyrogenic rocks. According to the invention glassy pyrogenic rocks are mechanically activated by grinding. The activation time is 0.5 to 36 hours, preferably 4 to 12 hours, and the mechanical stress applied is higher than in case of the conventional fine grinding.
