  • Patent number: 7654156
Abstract: A distal tip of a fluid velocity probe generally includes at least a portion of a housing having first and second sidewalls defining a passageway therebetween, the passageway having inlet and outlet regions. The first and second sidewalls each are substantially symmetrical along an axis extending in the direction of the passageway through the center of each sidewall. The distal tip further includes a mass flow sensor disposed in the passageway between the inlet and outlet regions.

  • Patent number: 7535235
Abstract: An air flow sensor includes a sensor element and a microcontroller, employing a PWM signal to drive the sensor element. Signals from the sensor element are processed by the microcontroller inside the sensor, resulting in continuous readings of air velocity and air temperature.

  • Patent number: 7533092
Abstract: A computer implemented method of ranking search hits in a search result set. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a query from a user and generating a list of hits related to the query, where each of the hits has a relevance to the query, where the hits have one or more boosting linked documents pointing to the hits, and where the boosting linked documents affect the relevance of the hits to the query. The method associates a metric to each of at least a subset of the hits, the metric being representative of the number of boosting linked documents that point to each of at least a subset of the hits and which artificially inflate the relevance of the hits. The method then compares the metric, which is representative of the size of a spam farm pointing to the hit, with a threshold value, processes the list of hits to form a modified list based in part on the comparison, and transmits the modified list to the user.

  • Patent number: 4417812
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for determining the characteristics of liquids and/or gases, in particular for determining the diverse parameters of blood. The equipment determines the ratio of the signals of the sensing element resp. of the signal converter at a double-light photometer and a reference, simultaneously performing constant or periodical testing, accordingly, the control of the whole measuring system can be ensured. Signal processing takes place by the expansion of series or cutoff point interpolating logarithm forming, by averaging; the system includes structural elements for performing adjustable error detection. The largest advantage of the circuit arrangement according to the invention lies in that the instabilities of the photometers of traditional construction may be eliminated, a higher measuring accuracy becomes possible, and by ensuring the testing possibilities, by performing a continuous self-control reliable measuring data are delivered.
