Abstract: A closure cap is disclosed herein having a double latch closure system for controlling the rotation of the cap on a container and which includes an angular displaceable indicating marker for signifying unauthorized container opening. In one form, the cap includes a first container closure portion having upright, spaced apart driven segments and a second cover portion rotatably mounted on the first portion having downwardly depending driving segments interposed between selected ones of the driven segments so that clockwise or counterclockwise rotation of the cover portion translates into rotation of the closure portion via engagement of the driving segments with the driven segments. A pair of markers carried on the exterior of the closure and cover portion cooperate to indicate displacement of the cover portion from its initial or original position.
