  • Publication number: 20240052788
Abstract: Assembly for an aircraft turbine engine, comprising an intermediate casing hub, an accessory gearbox, and a transfer case including a power transmission shaft configured to transmit mechanical power, taken off an engine shaft of the turbine engine, to at least one accessory mounted on the accessory gearbox, in which the transfer case comprises a structural element surrounding the power transmission shaft and rigidly attaching the accessory gearbox to the intermediate casing hub.

  • Patent number: 8240124
Abstract: A method for producing the electrical power required for equipment on board an airplane is disclosed. Auxiliary power is taken off by a shaft driven by the high pressure turbine and, when idling, the efficiency of the low pressure turbine is degraded so as to enable the high pressure turbine to operate at a speed that is sufficient for delivering the required auxiliary power.

  • Patent number: 8006501
Abstract: A device for driving the rotor of an auxiliary is mounted on a turbine engine auxiliaries support which includes a pinion for driving the rotor shaft. The device includes a tubular shaft driven by the pinion and supported by a first bearing (18) and a second bearing (19) which are secured to the auxiliaries support (10). The rotor shaft is coaxial with the tubular shaft and a splined coupling portion formed between the rotor shaft and the tubular shaft. By virtue of the invention, mechanical loads of the auxiliary are transmitted to a lesser extent to the rotor shaft support bearings and to the auxiliaries support gear train.

  • Patent number: 7591594
Abstract: A turbomachine roller bearing that supports a shaft constituted by a trunnion of a shaft line of a high-pressure spool of a turbomachine to rotate relative to a stationary support that is connected to a casing of the turbomachine, said bearing comprising rollers inserted between an outer ring disposed adjacent to the stationary support and an inner ring disposed adjacent to the high-pressure trunnion, the inner ring extending along the axis beyond a downstream end of the high-pressure trunnion to which it is secured by clamping means, and being provided with anti-rotation means for preventing said inner ring from rotating relative to the high-pressure trunnion.

  • Publication number: 20080053257
Abstract: The device for driving the rotor of an auxiliary (11) of the invention is mounted on a turbine engine auxiliaries support (10) which comprises means (15) for driving the rotor shaft (13). It comprises a tubular shaft (17) driven by one of said means (15) and supported by a first bearing (18) and a second bearing (19) which are secured to the auxiliaries support (10), the rotor shaft (13) being coaxial with the tubular shaft (17) and a rotational-coupling means being formed between the rotor shaft (13) and the tubular shaft (17). By virtue of the invention, mechanical loads of the auxiliary (11) are transmitted to a lesser extent to the rotor shaft support bearings (18, 19) and to the auxiliaries support gear train.

  • Patent number: 7195444
Abstract: The invention relates to a turbomachine comprising a rotor with a drive shaft centered on the axis of the turbomachine by a first bearing and a second bearing which bearings are supported respectively by a first-bearing-support piece and a second-bearing-support piece which are secured to one another and connected to the turbomachine fixed structure by a decoupling device. This turbomachine comprises means designed to collaborate with at least one element of the turbomachine fixed structure in order to perform a dual function, that of preventing the bearing supports, from rotating and that of radially retaining the drive shaft in the event of the bearings becoming decoupled.
