The method comprises: receiving, by the server, a nearby contact search request from a client, wherein the search request includes current position information of the client; searching the contacts nearby the current position included in the information; returning the searched contacts to the client, wherein the searched contacts includes communication robots; receiving, by the server, a query request from the client for querying the communication robots, obtaining recommendation information corresponding to the query request and pushing the recommendation information to the client.
