Abstract: A method, system and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for switching video live broadcasting to on-demand broadcasting are provided. The method includes: receiving a live broadcasting to on-demand broadcasting conversion request, and parsing a video characteristic parameter of a video to be broadcast on demand, querying an index table to determine a storage address of a video file corresponding to the video characteristic parameter of the video to be broadcast on demand; finding a corresponding source live broadcasting video file based on the determined storage address of the video file, and generating an on-demand broadcasting file by use of the corresponding source live broadcasting video file.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and electronic device for bandwidth allocation. The method includes, at an electronic device: receiving a service access request from a user; parsing the request to determine the user's service attribute which at least includes a requested bandwidth, a currently occupied bandwidth and a priority; and determining a strategy for bandwidth allocation, including: determining a predetermined available bandwidth for the determined priority, comparing a sum of the requested bandwidth and currently occupied bandwidth with the available bandwidth, and refusing to allocate the requested bandwidth if the sum of the requested bandwidth and currently occupied bandwidth is greater than the available bandwidth, or otherwise allocating the requested bandwidth. The embodiments of the disclosure show the method and electronic device for bandwidth allocation in question, which allocate user's bandwidth in a dynamic manner, realize efficient utilization thereof and avoid wastes therefrom.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing video service, including receiving by a video server an access request from a client; forwarding the access request to a client server of the client for authentication; receiving an authentication feedback fed back by the client server; and determining whether to provide a video service at least according to the authentication feedback. In addition, the disclosure also provides a method for access authentication, a video server, a client server and a video access system. The disclosure can solve the security hazard of leakage of user information and overload of a video server in the prior art.
