  • Publication number: 20160129171
Abstract: A method for providing animated feedback on an event state in a blood purification device is disclosed. The method includes detecting a pressed state of an active element on a graphical user interface of the device; triggering an event in the device in response to the detection of the pressed state of the active element; tracking the status of the triggered event, wherein said tracking includes detecting a plurality of states of the event, and wherein each detected event state is assigned a feedback representation variant at the active element; and setting the feedback representation variant at the active element as a user feedback indication in accordance with the detected event state. A device for performing the method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20160132226
Abstract: A method for providing feedback on an expected and/or required user interaction in a blood purification device is disclosed. The method includes monitoring, at a current position in an operational flow of the blood purification device, whether a user interaction is expected and/or required in a subsequent step in the operational flow. If it is determined in the monitoring step that a user interaction is required and/or expected, the kind of required and/or expected user interaction is determined. A user interaction feedback indicating the determined kind of user interaction required and/or expected in the at least one subsequent step is then proactively activated at an active element corresponding to the user interaction in a graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20160132197
Abstract: A method for providing feedback on user actions in a blood purification device is disclosed. Feedback may be provided by loading a task list defining process actions to be carried out into a processing environment of the blood purification device, wherein the task list includes at least one task assigned to a predetermined device and/or user action, selecting a set of sensors and/or detectors from sensors and/or detectors arranged in the blood purification device based on requirements of the task list, and for each task in the task list, querying the selected set of sensors and/or detectors, determining operational and/or device task states based on the sensor and/or detector outputs, and outputting a user feedback indication notifying the user on the determined task state. A blood purification device equipped with supporting hardware is arranged to carry out the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9128515
Abstract: A control device for providing a reconfigurable operator interface for a medical apparatus is provided. The control device comprises a control surface comprising at least one control actuator arranged on the control surface. The control device further comprises a plurality of modules arranged side-by-side and attached to each other via adjacent abutting side surfaces in a liquid-tight manner, wherein the plurality of modules comprise a first terminal module having a closing end surface and an abutting side surface opposite the closing end surface, and a second terminal module having an abutting side surface facing towards the abutting side surface of the first terminal module, and an opposite closing end surface. Operation of the control device is enabled when all the abutting side surfaces of the plurality of modules are in an attached state.

  • Patent number: 8844376
Abstract: A multi-degree of freedom transducer for converting manually applied forces and torques into electrical signals, and configured to be fixed to a base object. The transducer comprises a handle bar having two ends and a first longitudinal direction, and a supporting assembly suitable for fixing the two ends of the handle bar to the base object. The supporting assembly comprising a frame structure at each of the ends of the handle bar, wherein each of the frame structures comprises at least two measuring beams. At least one of the measuring beams includes a second longitudinal direction and at least one other of the measuring beams includes a third longitudinal direction. Each of the at least two measuring beams comprises two strain gauges configured to sense strain in the third longitudinal direction and arranged on two different, non-parallel side surfaces of each of the at least two measuring beams.
