  • Publication number: 20200387554
Abstract: An apparatus for collecting user ratings of web pages and websites utilizes a rating server and user terminals connected to the rating server via telecommunications network. The apparatus includes: a display; a user rating recording unit; a sending unit transmitting the address, user rating, and user identifier to the server; a statistical calculator; a statistic sending unit to transmit the statistics to the terminal; and a statistic display. The apparatus enables rating not only the websites but also the web pages located on the websites individually. The apparatus allows rating by several criteria, such as emotional, scientific or empirical. Numerical scales, on which ratings are recorded, allow sophisticated and nuanced ratings. Previous ratings do not influence the user rating. Therefore, the user does not able to know other users' rating before his/her own rating of the web page.

  • Patent number: 10572442
Abstract: A database management system (DBMS) run a host CPU and a hardware coprocessor accelerate traversal of a tree-type data structure by allocating reusable memory in cache to store portions of the tree-type data structure as the tree-type data structure is being requested by the host CPU. The hardware coprocessor manages the cached tree-type data structure in a manner that is transparent to the host CPU. A driver located at the host CPU or at a separate computing device can provide an interface between the host CPU and the hardware coprocessor, thus reducing communications between the host CPU and the hardware coprocessor.

  • Patent number: 6099853
Abstract: This invention is directed to a suppository-based vaccine delivery system for immunizing against urogenital infectious disease in humans and a method for treating same. More particularly, this invention is directed to a suppository-based vaccine delivery system for the prophylaxis against urogenital infectious diseases, such as urinary tract infections. The suppository-based vaccine delivery system is comprised of a vaccine comprised of inactivated bacteria which originate from cultures of 8 to 14 uropathogenic bacteria strains of the species: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pnieumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus morganii, and Streptococcus faecalis; and polyethylene glycol suppository base; wherein the suppository is adapted to be inserted into a bodily orifice of a human so as to allow the suppository to be in contact with tissue of the bodily orifice to facilitate transfer of suppository material therethrough.
