The network element also includes a determining for determining that an entity from which the message is received is a predefined trusted entity. The header of the message includes information for identifying whether or not the entity from which the message is received is a predefined trusted entity. The network element also includes a processing unit for using contents of the header, from the entity that is determined to be a predefined trusted entity, for applications implemented by the network element.
