A retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body comprises an L shape piece, a base, at least one thread rod, and a press plate. By the insert end of the L shape piece being inserted into a gap at an edge frame of a mask in a car, the plate rotates the extending end of the L shape piece so that the insert end is against the edge frame at an inner side of the mask. Then the thread rod drives the press plate to move forwards until the insert end of the L shape piece and the press plate tightly clamps the edge frame of the mask so that the base is steadily positioned. The thread holes or pinholes at the upper surface of the base are used with a mounting seat for securing an object being used.
[0001] The present invention relates to a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, and especially, the fittings are clamped to the edge frame of a mask of shaft so that no gluing trace is formed on the car. Furthermore, heavy objects can be supported on the screw holes or pinholes at the upper surface of the base so that mounting seat of objects can be installed thereon.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002] Cars have become a popular vehicle currently and are widely used in the daily life. People take more and more time within cars. Therefore, the inner space in the car has become a life space of modern people. To satisfy the requirement of car space, many compact objects suitable to be arranged in a car are developed and commercial sold. Peoples often buy different objects for arranging within a car for being used as desired. In general, the following ways are used to arrange these object within cars:
[0003] 1. Put these objects within a car as desired. For example, the receiving tanks below the hank brakes, seat pads, or table besides the meter panel, etc. Not only the space is disorder, but also these objects are unstable so as to fall down as the car is decelerated. Furthermore, it is difficult for the user to look for it. Moreover, as the driver looks for an object in driving, it is very dangerous.
[0004] 2. In some cases, these objects are adhered to the panel of a car or are screwed to the panel. Therefore, not only the detaching work is difficult, but also ugly gluing traces or threaded traces are left on the surface. Moreover, the structure of the car is destroyed seriously.
[0005] Besides, a problem frequently occurred is that for the electronic products in the car, although the mainframe seat is fixed, the wires are disorderly arranged. Not only the outlook is destroyed, but also they are touched by mistake so that it is possible that the wire is shortened so as to induce a dangerous condition.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0006] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, wherein the fittings are clamped to the edge frame of a mask of shaft so that no gluing trace is formed on the car. Furthermore, heavy objects can be supported (at least 5 KG). The present invention can be widely used to various products.
[0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, wherein holes and trenches for receiving electric wires are formed. Electric wire may pass thereby the trench notch and though hole and then moves along the gap to be enclosed in the edge frame of the mask until the wire sections within a car. Thereby, the danger that the passengers in the car touch the electric wires within the car by mistakes and moreover, a beautiful and clean environment is formed.
[0008] A further object of the present invention is to provide a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, wherein the assembly and detachment of the present invention is convenient and the wiring of electric wires are convenient unnecessary to detaching the shaft cover. Therefore, time and labor are saved so that the cost is low.
[0009] A yet object of the present invention is to provide a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, wherein other than being used at two sides of the center shaft mask, the gap of the shaft mask at the rear seat can be used so that various products can be used by passengers seating at the rear seat.
[0010] To achieve above object, the present invention provides a retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, comprises:
[0011] An L shape piece has an insert end and a extending end which are bending through 90 degrees;
[0012] A base is firmly secured to an inner surface at a distal end of the extending end of the L shape piece; and a lateral surface of the base being installed with at least one penetrating stud hole and an upper surface of the base being installed with a plurality of thread holes or pin holes;
[0013] At least one thread rods is exactly screwedly installed in the penetrating stud hole at the lateral surface of the base; and
[0014] A press plate is installed at a front end of the thread rod and is driven to the thread rod to displace;
[0015] By the insert end of the L shape piece being inserted into a gap at an edge frame of a mask in a car, the plate rotates the extending end of the L shape piece so that the insert end is against the edge frame at an inner side of the mask, and then the thread rod drives the press plate to move forwards until the insert end of the L shape piece and the press plate tightly clamps the edge frame of the mask so that the base is steadily positioned; the thread holes or pin holes at the upper surface of the base is used with a mounting seat for securing an object being used.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION[0028] In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.
[0029] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, the present invention includes an positioning hole 11, a base 2, two thread rods 3 and a press plate 4, etc. The L shape piece 1 is made of steel or plastic steel and other high intensity materials. In general, the thickness is about 1 to 2 mm. The L shape piece is inserted into the gap 91 of the mask 9. The L shape piece 1 has a 90 degrees bending insert end 11 and extending end 12. The though hole 13 is near the bending portion. Coarse texture 14 is formed on the inner surface of the insert end 11. The texture may be press follow texture, particle pits or ratchet texture. Preferably, the base 2 is made of bakelite or other plastic materials and is locked to the inner surface of the distal end of the extending end 12 of the L shape piece. The lateral surface of the base 2 facing to the insert end 11 of the L shape piece 1 is installed with two penetrating stud holes 21. The upper surface 22 of the base is installed with a plurality of thread holes or pin holes 23 and a slot 24. The thread rod 3 is formed to the penetrating stud hole 21 of the base. The press plate 4 is installed in the front end of the thread rod 3 to be driven by the thread rod to displace. The lower side of the press plate has a notch 41. And the top of the press plate with respect to the ejecting portion of the thread rod is installed with fish shape pit 42 for avoiding that in the process of the thread rod applying force, the press plate is shifted.
[0030] Therefore, with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, in assembling the present invention, the insert end 11 of the L shape piece is inserted from the gap 91 between the mask 9 and the car floor 6. Then the plate is turned through the extending end 12 so that the insert end is against the inner edge frame of the mask 9. Then the thread rod 3 drives the press plate 4 to move forwards until the insert end 11 of the L shape piece 1 and the press plate 4 clamps the edge frame of the mask 9 to position the base 2. By the thread holes or pin holes 23 at the upper surface of the insert end 11 of the L shape piece 1, it can be used with a mounting seat 8 for use (referring to dashed lines in FIG. 4)
[0031] In the present invention, by the inner surface of the insert end 11 of the L shape piece 1 being installed with coarse texture 14, the friction force in clamping is increased to avoid the slide backwards in locking and increasing the bearing force of objects.
[0032] Moreover, the present invention is especially to be used with electronic products. When the mounting seat 8 of electronic product is firmly secured to the base 2. Electric wire may pass thereby the trench 24, notch 51 and though hole 13 and then moves along the gap 91 to be enclosed in the edge frame of the mask 9 until the wire sections (not shown) within a car. Thereby, the danger that the passengers in the car touch the electric wires within the car by mistakes and moreover, a beautiful and clean environment is formed.
[0033] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, another embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. The structure of this embodiment is approximately equal to that in the first embodiment except that a thread rod 3 is installed in the base 2. The front end of the thread rod can be riveted freely to the press plate 4. Thereby, in the present invention, the press plate 4 and the thread rod 3 are combined together to avoid that the parts are dropped. Therefore, the present invention can be operated easily.
[0034] With reference to FIGS. 7 and 8, the third embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. The structure of this embodiment is approximately equal to that in the first embodiment except that the extending end 12 of the L shape piece has a distal end installed with ear portion 16 turning inward through 90 degrees. The ear has locking hole 17. The distal end of the extending end 12 is combined with the base 2 through a hinge 25. The base is installed with a positioning hole 26 with respect to the lateral surface of the locking hole 17. A pin rod 7 may be matched with the locking hole 17 and the pin hole 26 at the lateral surface of the base. In the present invention, by the bending structure of the extending end 12 of the L shape piece and the base 2, in the process that the L shape piece is inserted into the gap, the interference from the base can be avoided and thereby the operation of assembly is convenient.
[0035] A fourth embodiment of the present invention is illustrated in the FIGS. 9 and 10. The difference therebetween is that a plurality of threaded trenches 18 with each articulated distance are installed at the center of the distal end of the extending end 12 of the L shape piece. A spiral rod 5 has a spiral texture 51 with an articulated distance identical to that the threaded trench 18 and the base 2 may move longitudinally freely to be engaged to the extending end 12 of the L shape piece 1. The center at the bottom of the base 2 is installed with a concave chamber 27 which may exactly enclose the spiral rod 5. In the present invention, by rotating the spiral rod 5 to drive the base 2 to move forwards to be tightly clamped in the edge frame of the mask 9. As a consequence, the thread rod 3 and press plate 4 in above embodiment is neglected. The structure is simplified and the manufacturing cost is saved.
[0036] Furthermore, a carrying enhancing structure can be selectively installed to above embodiments. Referring to FIG. 11, the carrying enhancing structure A includes a force applying seat Al, a thread rod A2, and an ejecting plate A3. The force applying seat A1 is firmly secured to the bottom of the L shape piece 1. And the thread hole A12 on the front plate of the force applying set A1 is screwedly connected to the thread rod A2. A front end of the thread rod is pin-connected to the ejecting plate A3 so that the ejecting plate A3 is driven at the positive and negative directions of the thread rod A2 so as to be move axially. Thereby when the insert end 11 of the L shape piece of the retaining device is clamped by the edge frame of the mask 9 of the press plate 4, the ejecting plate A3 of carrying enhancing structure A resists against the lateral wall 91 of the clamping portion so as to enhance the stability of the base 2 of the retaining device. Moreover, the supporting force of the base 2 is increased, Furthermore, the force applying seat A1 can be fixed to the lateral surface or the top surface of the embodiment of the retaining device according to the application and the confinement of the installation.
[0037] The present invention are thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious. For example, the L shape piece 1 may be a thin steel plate and then enhancing texture is installed to enhancing the structure.
Claims
1. A retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, comprising:
- an L shape piece having an insert end and a extending end which are bending through 90 degrees;
- a base firmly secured to an inner surface at a distal end of the extending end of the L shape piece; and a lateral surface of the base being installed with at least one penetrating stud hole and an upper surface of the base being installed with a plurality of thread holes or pin holes;
- at least one thread rods exactly screwedly installed in the penetrating stud hole at the lateral surface of the base; and
- a press plate being installed at a front end of the thread rod and is driven to the thread rod to displace;
- wherein by the insert end of the L shape piece being inserted into a gap at an edge frame of a mask in a car, the plate rotates the extending end of the L shape piece so that the insert end is against the edge frame at an inner side of the mask, and then the thread rod drives the press plate to move forwards until the insert end of the L shape piece and the press plate tightly clamps the edge frame of the mask so that the base is steadily positioned; the thread holes or pin holes at the upper surface of the base is used with a mounting seat for securing an object being used.
2. The retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body as claimed in
- claim 1, wherein a top of the press plate with respect to a ejecting portion of the thread rod is installed with pits for avoiding that in the process of the thread rod applying force, the press plate is shifted.
3. The retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body as claimed in
- claim 1, wherein the L shape piece and the base are formed with holes or trenches for being passed through by electric wires.
4. The retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body as claimed in
- claim 1, wherein an inner surface of the insert end of the L shape piece is formed with coarse slide-preventing texture.
5. The retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body as claimed in
- claim 1, wherein the base is made by plastics or bakelite.
6. The retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body as claimed in
- claim 1, further comprising a carrying enhancing structure including a force applying seat firmly secured to a bottom of the L shape piece, a thread rod screwedly connected to a front plate of the force applying seat, and an ejecting plate being pin-connected to a front end of the thread rod; wherein by the ejecting plate to clamp a lateral wall of the clamping portion, the base can be firmly secured and has a supporting force for bearing object.
7. A retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, comprising: an L shape piece having an insert end and a extending end which are bending through 90 degrees; coarse slide-preventing texture being formed on an inner surface of the insert end, and a lateral side at a distal end of the extending end having an ear bending inwards through 90 degrees and pin holes being installed with pin holes;
- a base firmly secured to a distal end of the extending end of the L shape piece by hinges; and a lateral surface of the base being installed with at least one penetrating stud hole and an upper surface of the base being installed with a plurality of thread holes or pin holes;
- at least one thread rods exactly screwedly installed in the penetrating stud hole at the lateral surface of the base; and
- a press plate being installed at a front end of the thread rod and is driven to displace; and
- a set of pin rods locking to the pin holes of the ear or on the lateral surface of the base;
- wherein by the insert end of the L shape piece being inserted into a gap at an edge frame of a mask in a car, the pin rods lock the base to the inner surface of the distal end of extending end of the L shape piece; and then the thread rod drives the press plate to move forwards until the insert end of the L shape piece and the press plate tightly clamps the edge frame of the mask so that the base is steadily positioned; the thread holes or pin holes at the upper surface of the base is used with a mounting seat for securing an object being used.
8. A retaining device for combining fittings to a vehicle body, comprising: an L shape piece having an insert end and a extending end which are bending through 90 degrees; coarse slide-preventing texture being formed on an inner surface of the insert end, and a plurality of threaded trenches with each articulated distance are installed at the center of the distal end of the extending end of the L shape piece;
- a spiral rod having a spiral texture with an articulated distance identical to that the threaded trench; and
- a base moving longitudinally freely to be engaged to the extending end of the L shape piece; a center at the bottom of the base being installed with a concave chamber which exactly encloses the spiral rod;
- wherein by the insert end of the L shape piece being inserted into a gap at an edge frame of a mask in a car, the spiral rod is rotated to drive the base to move forwards; and then the thread rod drives the press plate to move forwards until the insert end of the L shape piece and the press plate tightly clamps the edge frame of the mask so that the base is steadily positioned; the thread holes or pin holes at the upper surface of the base is used with a mounting seat for securing an object being used.
