IV. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0015] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention as it would appear before being incorporated with a fixed cabinet shelf.

[0016] FIG. 2 is a front view of the present invention as it would appear before being incorporated with a fixed cabinet shelf.

[0017] FIG. 3 is a front view of the present invention as it would appear after being attached to a fixed cabinet shelf.

V. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0018] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention as it would appear before being incorporated with a fixed cabinet shelf, while FIG. 2 is a front view of the present invention as it would appear before being incorporated with a fixed cabinet shelf. Attachable cabinet shelf 2 would comprise a flat tray 4, a pair of side extensions, left extension 6 and right extension 8, and a pair of attachment sections, left attachment section 10 and right attachment section 12. The various parts of attachable cabinet shelf 2 would preferably be fabricated from metal, but could also be fabricated from another sturdy material.

[0019] Flat tray 4 would preferably be about nineteen and one-half inches in width and about fifteen inches in depth. Flat tray 4 would have two sides, a top side and a bottom side, and further, would have a front edge, a rear edge, and two side edges, a left side edge and a right side edge.

[0020] Left extension 6 would have two edges, a top edge and a bottom edge, with the bottom edge being attached to the left edge of flat tray 4 at a ninety degree angle. Left extension 6 would be approximately fifteen inches in length and approximately one and one-half inches in height. Right extension 8 would have two edges, a top edge and a bottom edge, with the bottom edge being attached to the right edge of flat tray 4 at a ninety degree angle. Right extension 8 would be approximately fifteen inches in length and approximately one and one-half inches in height.

[0021] Left attachment section 10 would have two edges, an inner edge and an outer edge, with the inner edge being attached to the top edge of left extension 6 at a ninety degree angle. Left attachment section 10 would be approximately fifteen inches in length and approximately one inch in width. Right attachment section 12 would have two edges, an inner edge and an outer edge, with the inner edge being attached to the top edge of right extension 8 at a ninety degree angle. Right attachment section 12 would be approximately fifteen inches in length and approximately one inch in width.

[0022] FIG. 3 is a front view of the present invention as it would appear after being attached to a fixed cabinet shelf 14. To be properly used, left attachment section 10 and right attachment section 12 would be fixedly attached to the underside of a fixed cabinet shelf 14 within a kitchen or other location. Ideally, attachable cabinet shelf 2 would be used to store a step stool, but could also be used to store other items that may be useful at times but also would be more appropriately “stored away” when not in use. Attachable cabinet shelf 2 would be ideal for using a step stool or other related equipment frequently and also allow the user to have the equipment remain close, yet at the same time, keep the equipment out of the way until it would be needed.

[0023] Flat tray 4 would have some plastic 16 located on the top side of flat tray 4. The presence of plastic 16 would allow a user to more easily slide in a step stool or other piece of equipment stored with attachable cabinet shelf 2.
