Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1) Field of the Invention

[0002] The invention herein relates to a type of “assembled simplified form” in the form of a cylinder, which allows the user to assemble it on his own and that the cylinder may be used as a pencil holder, item holder, lampshade, and others, and that this may be made out of junk or scrap.

[0003] 2) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Designs often seen for pencil holders are usually focused on whole or integrated forms, which also means that they already have a definite and unchangeable form when they come out of the factory and are put on sale. The inconvenience and the awkwardness of these traditional forms often fail to meet the needs of an ever-changing society. To people who likes putting things together by themselves, the idea of coming home with something that can be used immediately leaves them extremely disinterested.

[0005] More than that, because they are often in whole or integrated forms, the traditional pencil holders take up a lot of space; to mass producers of the product they often need huge storage space in order to be able to stock the product which increases storage costs.

[0006] In terms of shipping, because it takes up a lot of space, therefore, there is a limit to the amount of goods that a fixed cubic capacity can hold; numerous trips would have to be made, increasing shipping costs.

[0007] On another aspect, with item holders and lampshades, they too come in whole or integrated forms when they are sold. With their volume being a lot bigger, the area which they occupy is proportionately larger, consequently, shipping costs are bound to be higher, which will be added on to the selling price, making the product expensive. This results in the consumers rejecting the product, thus lowering the product's competitiveness in the market.

[0008] The inventor felt that the more common pencil holders, item holders, lampshades, and others with whole and integrated shapes results in increased shipping and storage costs; because of their solid forms, they fail to satisfy the consumers who like doing things themselves; taking these into consideration, the inventor finally designed a form of assembled cylindrical form, which primarily consists of a base board, L-shaped sideboards, encircling board, cylindrical board, and inner base board; among these, the upper ring of the base board has numerous hook holes, the L-shaped boards are attached to the base board in an encircling arrangement, with the L-shaped boards having numerous fastening notches; the inner ring of the encircling board has numerous block notches, which are fastened to the fastening notches of the L-shaped boards; with the encircling board fastened to the L-shaped board, the cylindrical board is then placed within the inner ring and then have the inner base board sheathed into the bottom part of the cylindrical board, the above structure allows users to assemble it into a cylindrical form, which satisfies the people who like working on things, DIY style; it can also be used as a learning tool for children; this cylindrical form may be used as a pencil holder, item holder, lampshade, etc.; moreover, in its unassembled state, the volume is drastically reduced, thus lowering the cost of shipping and increasing market competitiveness.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] The invention's main purpose is to provide an assembled simplified cylindrical form primarily consisting of a base board, L-shaped sideboards, encircling board, cylindrical board, and inner base board, which allows the user to assemble it into a pencil holder, item holder, lampshade, etc., on his own.

[0010] An objective of the invention provide an assembled simplified cylindrical form primarily consisting of a base board, L-shaped sideboards, encircling board, cylindrical board, and inner base board, and in its unassembled state, the volume is drastically reduced, thus lowering the cost of shipping and increasing market competitiveness.

[0011] The other objective of the invention is to provide a form, which can be assembled by children on their own as a learning experience; with only one Earth to live in, the excessive amount of scrap has already resulted in serious pollution. Scrap materials may be used for this invention; not only does it maximize the use of resources, but it also performs an educational function.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0012] FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional drawing of the invention herein.

[0013] FIG. 2 is a three-dimensional drawing of the invention.

[0014] FIG. 3 is an assembled cross section drawing of the invention.

[0015] FIG. 4 is an illustration of actual use of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] Firstly, as seen from FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, the invention primarily consists of a baseboard 1, L-shaped sideboards 2, encircling board 3, cylindrical board 4, and inner baseboard 5, the position and structure of each component are as follows:

[0017] A lower base 1, which is in actuality a round plate, the upper ring which has numerous hook holes I 1;

[0018] L-shaped sideboards 2, which are positioned in a circle and attached to the baseboard 1; the bottom of the L-shaped sideboards 2 has a set of hooks 21, which fastens into the hook holes 11 of the base board 1; the L-shaped sideboards 2 have numerous fastening notches 22.

[0019] The encircling board 3, numerous block notches 31 are placed on the inner ring of the encircling board 3, and that the block notches 31 shall be fastened onto the fastening notches 22 of the L-shaped sideboards 2. attaching the encircling board 3 on the L-shaped sideboards 2.

[0020] The cylindrical board 4, the only type of board which has been rolled to become a ring; the said cylindrical board 4 has to be sheathed into the encircling board 3, with the base of the cylindrical board 4 resting on the base board 1.

[0021] Inner baseboard 5, is a round plated object, which is attached to the most bottom part of the cylindrical board 4. thus securing the cylindrical board 4 within the encircling board 3.

[0022] According to the description of the above components, during assembly, the numerous hooks 21 of the L-shaped sideboards 2 should be fastened to the hook holes of the baseboard 1, and the L-shaped sideboards 2 arranged in rows to be attached on top of the baseboard 1, after which numerous block notches 31 of the encircling boards 3 will be hooked up with the corresponding fastening notches 22 of the L-shaped sideboards 2, with the encircling boards 3 assembled on top of the L-shaped sideboards 2, forming a cylindrical form. After the cylindrical board 4 is rolled into a round cylindrical shape, it is to be sheathed within the cylindrical structure formed by the L-shaped sideboards 2 and encircling boards 3; last, the inner baseboard 5 should be sheathed within the cylindrical board 4 which has been rolled into a round cylindrical form, and the cylindrical board may be pressed and supported by the most bottom part of the encircling boards 3 and the inner baseboards, allowing the cylindrical board 4 to take on a round cylinder shape; this way, a cylindrical form 10 which is useful and has a nice external appearance is created.

[0023] Because cylindrical form 10 consists of a base board 1, L-shaped sideboards 2, encircling board 3, cylindrical board 4, and inner base board 5, it allows the DIY group to do the assembly on their own, resulting in the customer having a feeling of achievement and satisfaction for having completed something.

[0024] Because the cylindrical form 10 allows consumers to assemble it on their own, it may be used as instructional material for children. When used as instructional materials, a solid color (white) is the preferred color for the materials provided; this way, children are given the chance to put their favorite color or picture, which is the start of creative arts and craft.

[0025] Also the cylindrical form 10 may be used as a pencil holder for various pens and other stationery items, preventing the items from being scattered. If the size of the cylindrical form 10 is to be increased, it may be used a item holder, lampshade, and other uses.

[0026] Before assembly, the baseboard 1, L-shaped sideboards 2, encircling board 3, cylindrical board 4, and inner baseboard 5 of the cylindrical form 10 are in board form, reducing its volume and making packaging and storage convenient. In reducing the volume, cubic capacity is increased, lowering shipping costs and enhancing market competitiveness.

[0027] In summation of the foregoing section, the structure of the present invention meets patent application requirements and is hereby lawfully submitted in application thereof.
